Beautiful apartment! Extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and spacious (indeed, much larger than I thought from the photographs). It boasts a beautiful view from the large deck, a well furnished kitchen and classic '60's and 70's furniture as well as more modern Scandanavian leather furniture harking back to that time. Super luxe! (We felt really at home as my parents have a lot of the same stuff at their house.) In mid-August, we were perfectly cool with the air-conditioning. There are a lot of great touches such as beautiful photographs made by Claire, antique cameras, guidebooks to the natural wonders of Oregon, nice novels and works on forestry and the environment that set the tone for being in this beautiful part of the country. Super quiet and peaceful. The apartment is really close to the Shakespeare festival in Ashland, about a 4 minute drive or a lovely 15 or 20 minutes (depending on your pace). Lots of tea, coffee beans, half-and-half in the fridge when you arrive. We felt grateful for this super-relaxed and comfortable place and would love to stay here again on our next trip to Ashland and Jacksonville.
Claire met us as we drove up to the house and offered to help carry our suitcases up the two levels of stairs.
Claire was there to greet us when we arrived and was very welcoming. The apartment was beautiful and very neat and tidy, there was coffee for us in the fridge and lots of fun books about Oregon. We were also walking distance to the beautiful downtown area.
Claire met my wife and I at our arrival and showed us the house and gave suggestions for places to go in Ashland. The house was clean and exactly how the pictures were. The laundry machines were definitely a nice touch. The house is very close to downtown, which was perfect because we saw a few shows at the osf. We had a great time.
We enjoyed our stay here. The bed was comfortable, the accommodations are fun and unique and clean. We sure appreciated the AC as it was 107 degrees in Ashland! Claire is adorable and helpful. We would stay there again and recommend it to our friends.
It was a great stay from start to finish. Fantastic location, everything was as advertised, and we felt very comfortable the whole time. Claire was very friendly and helpful throughout. Definitely would recommend this spot to anyone.
