We stayed at the Hart residence for eleven days and shared it with Elizabeth and her son. They were easy to get along with and we had plenty of room. Sharing a residence was new for us, and we realize now that there are probably things we all should have clarified/considered up front given the sharing situation. For example, we didn't realize we would be sharing a bathroom with Elizabeth's son, so four persons' schedules had to be coordinated in the morning, rather than just three. Luckily, this usually turned out to be easier than expected. Future guests should consider that, along with the fact that sharing a house means you do not get full access to a refrigerator, so you may be limited as to how many perishables you can store. However, Elizabeth did have some breakfast foods and snacks available for us, and also let one of us who was gluten free have access to gluten free products that she already had. Also to consider, because you are sharing the residence, is that other folks may be present (friends of the family, etc.), so you need to be comfortable with that as well. The Hart residence is pet friendly, and the dog we brought got along well with Elizabeth's sweet and docile dog.
I'm sorry that the rooms were too cold, I thought after you closed the window, it got better, also rachelle told me you got a heater from her dad, I don't know it didn't work until too late. if I'd known, I could have bought you a space heater! I'm sorry you got a cold... I hope you're feeling better now! Thanks for the input !
