Graciela bent over backwards to accommodate our short notice request. She met us at the bus station even though I hadn't been able to tell her which bus we were on. Took Is shopping and then took us to the house. She even arranged for our taxi early the next morning. Only downside for us is that kitchen facilities are outside the back in a covered but open area. As this was not within the screen protection it attracted lots of bugs while I was cooking. There is also a rooster next door- it was very loud from 04.30 hrs .not Graciela's fault but just to make you aware it's there. The property was more than adequate for our needs for an overnight stay in Turrialba .

Response from Graciela:
I am sorry to hear that your experience was not exactly what you had expected or would've liked. We are glad, however, that we were able to accommodate you as best we could with a last minute booking. My home has received many positive reviews both verbally and written as I designed the house to encourage the maximum experience of the Costa Rican Tropical Rainforest. My kitchen is connected to the house, but the sole thought in mind for my home was to have open windows, which welcome guests who want to engulf themselves in the natural habitat and nature of Costa Rica. As far as the rooster, people in the area are used to the rooster being in its habitat, but we are speaking with the owner to try and train the rooster to cocka-doooodle-doo at a reasonable time. I appreciate your review, Costa Rica es Pura Vida!

We had a good night in Graciela's house. It's clean, very comfortable and there is anything to cook in the house. It's not far from the center where there are restaurants, ... like 10 min walking. Plus, Graciela is adorable, really! The only thing : the road is almost inaccessible so you can't park the car in the property.. so we were a little bit afraid to let it in front of the house during the night but finally nothing happened.

Response from Graciela:
Hello Marie and Morgane , sorry you had a problems parking your car in the garage because the road it gravel only, our home town governtment takes their time fixing our roads, and sorry you had problems finding our house location .. have a nice time the rest of your stay in Costa Rica.

Graciela was a great host and very friendly. She was available when we needed something and responded fast whenever we had a question. The house is perfect for what we needed and has everything a family would need. We had a beautiful stay in the house and a nice time in the area. It is a very beautiful region. Thank you Graciela!

We wished we had more days to spend at this house in Turrialba. Graciela was so very kind and accommodating. The house was very clean and comfortable and the amenities were much appreciated. The hot water was a perfect temperature and the off-the-street parking was very secure. The house is located in a convenient part of town on a quiet, dead-end street. We would have given a 5-star rating had there not been a rooster perched in a tree near our window that crowed all night.

Hello Ms: Staar and Martha. We really apoligize for the disturbance this rooster created. We did not know, We are going to talk to the ower of the rooster about the distubance he creates. We do really appreciate your input , that will help us a lot. Again thank you very much. Marcelo and Graciela Soto

Graciela made us feel welcome and the house was very nice. Walking distance into downtown Turrialba. It is helpful to know at least a little spanish as most people in town don't speak english. This is one of the best places to go in Costa Rica to get a true Tico experience. Graciela couldn't have been nicer. Would go back in a heartbeat
