About This Listing
Enjoy relaxing over SF, with 180' views across SF to Berkeley, and beyond in this awesome 1 bedroom (with a futon in living room), large deck, fireplace, quiet getaway. This tree house feel apt, that is right in the middle of everything SF has to offer!
The view from the living room/deck/office desk. AWESOME walks right outside your door. You can walk to the top of twin peaks, or down to Haight, or Castro area in 15 minutes. Or take public transportation as well. Street parking is safe and readily availa
The address is Graystone Terrace (in case map doesn't show correctly) This cozy 1BD in the sky feels like a yoga studio with the quietness, views, hardwood floors, and general beauty and feel of the place and area. You are above the matrix of SF, and you are right in the forested greens of the twin peaks mountain. Extremely safe as well!
Internet, 46" tv with DirecTV cable, HD projector that turns the place into your very own Twin Peaks Theater for movies or sport, or whatever you want to immerse your senses in!
Interaction with Guests
I will be out of town when this is available. I will have access to my cell 24/7 though.
North Twin Peaks, which is the kindest part of twin peaks- the sunny side overlooking SF (the southern end is usually foggy, north is sunny!) Feels like you are in Europe. One way roads with beautiful walks in every direction with Tons of flowers and beauty surrounding you everywhere. Awesome views and a quick walk to Haight/Ashbury, or quick hike up the back to the very top of Twin Peaks!
Convenient public transit, and great if you have a car as there is usually always ample free parking right out front.
Other Things to Note
The price is very low for this ideal place because there is The cat named Ninja:) that is mainly an outdoors cat- but you may or may not see. I have an automatic feeder, and he goes in and out of the bathroom window which is always open, so nothing to do other than give out some provided can food if you like.
Relatively quiet after 10pm, 12pm on weekends, as there is someone below you.
46 inch DirecTV, and also a projector for huge movie/sports theater showings! Also, that is the futon folded as a bed. Outdoor mini panther, Ninja, (shown) will say hey every now and then:)
I loved Kip (and Ninja's) apartment! Upon entering their "lair on a cloud", I immediately felt both intoxicated by the awesome city views and at home. The pictures and description did the place due justice.
Kip was very quick to answer any questions that I had. It's kind of silly, but I also really liked the "Welcome" sign hanging from the front door when I arrived.
The neighborhood is great and gorgeous! It was sort of confusing to figure out how to get there the first time because of a few one way roads, but we did it and learned it quickly.
The space was amazing and totally vibed with my style! We would definitely stay here again. Also, we got to hang out with Ninja a handful of times and he was so sweet! It was nice staying somewhere that actually has a cat, because it eases the pain of missing my kitties at home. :)
Great apartment. We can see the beautiful view of SF from our bed! Ninja is very cute!
Kip was an amazing host who responded immediately to any questions we had. The apartment was in a very safe neighborhood in a convenient location with plenty of parking spots nearby. The view from the balcony was extraordinary, Kip provides everything you need for a very comfortable stay.
