Pets are not welcome and the home is non-smoking. We expect guests to be respectful of our home and of other guests.
Little piece of heaven was indeed accurately that..
We arrived to carol's after a long drive and we had been exhausted.
Immediately we received a worming welcoming and felt like home.
The room was fantastic.
The view was indescribable. Stunning! Too beautiful to be truth!
The breakfast was delicious
Everything in this visit was much more the expected.
The best and important thing in this visit and I saved the best for last are carol and Harry who were amazing! welcoming , worm, helpful, nice and absolutely perfect hosts.
They also recommended us places to visit nearby that were spectacular! So listen to their advice and go to these amazing, non touristically places.
Unfortunately our trip was too short to stay there more, but if you can you have to stay there for at least
2 nights. There are a lot to see in this beautiful non touristically area.
Thank you so much for a truly little piece of heaven.
Can't wait for the opportunity to visit again!

Carol made us feel like family! Brilliant setting and experience! Excellent water pressure! The well water also tastes great! She is also a wonderful cook and baker!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Creevagh Heights just before Easter 2014, a great house with beautiful views in a stunning, remote part of Ireland. Hosts Carol and Harry were very helpful with their local knowledge and could not have been kinder in their hospitality. The food they served us was fantastic, especially the lovely four course dinner! They were the right balance of always being willing to help, without being intrusive and always giving us our own space. Thanks to them, we discovered many places we didn't know of. Would highly recommend staying here for a little piece of heaven!
Do you think that the Irish people are friendly? Well, if you visit Harry and Carol at their brand new B&B, the rest of the country looks mighty shallow by comparison. Here are two people who are in business for personal reasons -- to meet new people, share in their knowledge of the area and exercise their genuine interest in other people -- not simply to shake all the coins out of your pockets!
We opted to have dinner and spend the night at their clean, tastefully decorated B&B, were never disappointed in anyway, and always delighted. Carol leaves no detail to chance, and her desire to please her guests was evident not only in sensational food, good company and great advice on what to see and do in the area, but it went much deeper. If I had to do it over again, I would have booked at least two nights at their dream cottage on the coastline. This couple looked after our comfort and seemed more concerned than anywhere we spent in our journey across the country in the fall of 2013, including Dublin, Galway City, Killarney, Kilkenny and Sligo.
Consider this location for the most spectacular natural wonder in Ireland, too, at Downpatrick Head. Truly, we did the Ring of Kerry, Skellig Michael, and so many other spots but NOTHING compares to its natural beauty and sheer massive impossibility, and it's only six miles away! At the very least, I would recommend one night and possibly an entire week with them if you are interested in one of the best places you can experience in Ireland that isn't in the Tour Books (at least not yet)! Forget Guinness Brewery. If you really want a taste of Ireland, it's all right here without the crowds, noise or traffic!!
We had a wonderful stay. Great food, beautiful home and views. Great breakfast, made for when we needed to leave and could choose what each of us wanted every morning. Very helpful for places to visit, helped us book a tee time and will to just sit down and chat and answer questions we had and tell us stories of Ireland.
Highly recommended and I would go back again.
We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed staying with Carol & Harry at their Creevagh Heights B&B. They are as much a part of the experience as the accommodations & location are. The Green Room was top notch. It was large, comfortable, clean and inviting with a stunning vista overlooking Lacken Bay. We had chosen to have dinner with them the first night. Carol cooked a very delicious, four-course meal that was superbly presented and prepared. Breakfast offered a wide variety of foods from porridge to vegetarian to full "Irish" and included yogurt, fruits and cereals--all wonderfully presented. Harry & Carol have an intimate knowledge of the area, which is stunningly beautiful. We highly recommend a visit to this inspiring, peaceful and very beautiful part of Ireland and a stay with Harry & Carol.
Originally from Dublin, Ireland I have spent many years living in the USA and Belgium and travelling the world on business. With a background in Customer Service I love meeting new people and believe I know what is required to offer guests a warm welcome and a wonderful experience while introducing them to this little piece of heaven which is Irelands best kept secret!
