Interaction with Guests
I respect guest's privacy but always try and say hi and check in if guests have any questions or need some local knowledge. The odd free wine tasting is offered to guest who would enjoy that. I own a winery and make my beautiful BC Wine products available to guests at winery direct prices.

be yourselves, communicate what you need to have a nice stay
This was a great place to stay - the apartment was exactly as described and the location couldn't have been more convenient for where we wanted to visit while in Vancouver. There's a fantastic cafe/shop (Le Marche St. George) at the end of the block - great coffee, food, and meat/cheese snacks for a light dinner.
While we didn't get a chance to meet Mark, he provided detailed information about the property and was super easy to communicate with.
We hope to stay here again next time we're in town.
Excellent location, excellent accommodations, excellent host!!!. Mark provided all necessary information and more to facillitate our stay. Would recommend this site to others.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable -- a great deal for the price! Mark leaves detailed instructions and lots of tips for visitors to Vancouver. You must try the cafe down the block!
He sent a set of instructions that were complete. He also checked back with me more than once to be sure that I had everything I expected at the house.
The rooms we had were clean and bright. Cozy in size, but we didn't want an auditorium to bounce around in, so this was the perfect size.
Location was off of Main street, which has many stores, antique shops, and restaurants, plus a large grocery store. Only a few minutes drive from downtown, and very near Queen Elizabeth Park.
We had a fantastic stay at Mark's place- wish we could've stayed longer! Comfy, warm, cozy and in a lovely neighborhood close to Main St. Would definitely visit again!!
Great place for a great price. Walking distance to many things including groceries. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Everything you need so you don't have to eat out. Very smooth check in and check out. Great place if you want peace and quiet but still be relatively close to the downtown/city area. Good for 2 people to stay.
