My husband and I live in a 3 bedroom flat, reconstructed recently on our 50 year old parental house. This piece of land was purchased in 1962 for INR.7000. The plot of land is rebuild to a 4 floor building, with one flat on each floor. We occupy 2nd floor of the building. Each flat is of more than 1500 square feet of area with 3 bedrooms and a big living room provided with all amenities..
We are located in old North Delhi area, and you can feel the warmth of neighborhood community. This area is outside the Mughal Delhi and therefore less crowded. Daily needs are met by a local market of 20 shops, just 1 minutes walk away. Nearest metro stations is GTB Nagar well connected to New Delhi Railway station and airport, on the yellow line of Metro. For the history buffs, we are a mile away from the historic North Delhi Ridge-the site of the First War of Independence of 1857-among the best kept open secrets among Delhiites. Now a favorite among the early risers, the Ridge is home to the Flagstaff Tower, Mutiny Memorial and a whole lot of primates.
Each bedroom has a double bed and attached bathroom and 2 guests can stay comfortably. Morning tea and breakfast will be served by me and if guests like to enjoy Indian curries and food from Punjab, Maharashtra, Rajsthan, Tamilnadu, then that can be cooked by me and served for lunch and dinner on very nominal charges. Our Guests can share the living room and dining room with us. You can watch t.v. and listen to music. In the living room desk top is available with Internet and Wi-fi facilities..

Hi. Of course, Delhi is beautiful. Manjula and her husband were very friendly. They helped us a lot, always sincerely. Food was fantastic ! I had my first yoga class with Manjula who took her time. It was great ! -
Posting the review on behalf of the French guests you hosted.
I would rate this as one of my best experiences with a host. We stayed at Mrs. Manjula's place for 4 nights. She made us feel absolutely at home throughout our stay and went out of her way to help us. We had gone to Delhi regarding some work and she helped us enormously in getting it done. Not only that, we had the most amazing conversations. Family, spirituality, travel, food, politics, education, choose any topic and you'll find both Mrs Manjula and her husband well read and knowledgeable.
Regarding her house; it is simply beautiful, very clean and comfortable. She provided us with very nutritious breakfast as per our liking. If you are in the area I would recommend her place 110%
The reservation was canceled 88 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

The room is spacious very nice, the bathroom is as you feel at home :-) we were lucky to try Manjulas genious "Palak Paneer" :-)
Thanks a lot for everything!
Manjula and her hursband are really really nice persons. They really helped during all the time we stayed at their place and even after. They showed us everything and are there everytime we need them. They are perfect host. The flat is amazing and there is nothing to say about the room except WHAOO !!!
The breakfasts were really good and we recommmend absolutly their place !!!
We had a very pleasant stay with Mrs Manjula. She was really helpful giving us useful information and help finding everything we needed. The apartment was lovely and the food excellent. We can really recommend to stay here especially for first time visitors since you will feel well taken care of in a way you won´t at a hotel.
Mrs. Manjula and her husband made me feel at home both in their home as well as Delhi. I stayed a few more days than I had planned and it was well worth it. There was lots of info on places to see and when I had specific requests; markets, sights, threading etc. Mrs. Manjula was extremely helpful. She was more than willing to teach me how to move around the city using public transit and some cooking techniques. I highly recommend staying in this beautiful home and would gladly stay again. I already look forward to my next trip to India and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Delhi.
