Casa Favela is a fixer upper that the host has been renovating for over 10 years. The host lives on property and enjoys making improvements and refining details to enhance guests stay. If you are looking for perfection this is not the place for you.
There are 2 bedrooms for guest.

No running or horseplay
Patio can get slippery when wet so please use caution.

SECURITY:
There are 4 security cameras. One in driveway one by pool/patio and a doorbell camera. They are used for security and dog monitoring around the pool.
GUEST HAVE TOTAL ACCESS TO COMMON AREAS,BACK PATIO & POOL.
SPA / HOT TUB ISN’T AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.

All of this minutia has to be stated to comply with city code. So please hang with me while we go through this.

NUMBER OF GUEST:
When making a reservation please remember to specify number of guest.
If a guest shows up with more people than specified on reservation host will request the extra fee for each guest.
If that is not paid reservation will be cancelled.
Only those individuals who are registered guests may enter the premises alone unless cleared by host.
VISITORS:
We do not recommend having visitors due to liability issues.
We understand this can be a bit restrictive.
If you would like to have visitors. Just let the host know.
By having visitors the guest agrees that host is not liable for these visitors. Swim at your own risk.
The number of visitors has to be limited.
Visitors are not allowed to stay overnight.
In no way should it look like there’s a party at the house. That could result in the house being reported to police and the hosting property shut down immediately.
No third party bookings.

Local ordinances require the hosts to live on property. Whole home rentals and parties in the city of Las Vegas have been banned.
Hosts are required to show a photo of their business license in this listing. Those who don't can be shut down at anytime.

Guest access
Please provide host Kevin an estimated arrival time. The front door has a keypad the he will send a message with door code the day of your arrival. If any event there isn't communication that day rest assured Kevin will be there to let you in.
There's plenty of parking in driveway.
Feel free to come and go as you please any time of day or night. The host will give you privacy and will not go into that part of the house. The only time you will see him is out back in passing where there is a separate entrance. We want you to feel at home so we try to keep a laid back approach to hosting no need to tip toe. Enjoy yourself! Vegas after all.
During your stay
The only time you might see the host is in passing out back. He does not go into the main part of the house. He’s always available when needed and happy to answer any questions. You can come and go as you please anytime day or night and never worry about being quiet.
Other things to note
This home was built in 1952 as with many older homes the house isn't perfect. If you’re expecting everything shiny and new this isn’t the place for you. The host is always making improvements. Somethings may need to be repaired or is in the process of improvement. All in the effort to give guest the best accommodations.
The decor changes every season as seen in the photo's.
One good thing we never run out of hot water.
The host will give you privacy and will not go in the common areas. The only time you would see him is out back in passing. He has a separate entrance. Do not worry about
making noise although within reason.
The guest bathroom faucet handles are a little stiff to turn but work fine.
If you need to do laundry just ask the host he will kindly do it for you.
The pool is deep swim and dive at your own risk. The hot tub does not work.

This is a security system and It’s Intended use is for burglaries and dog monitoring the front door patio and pool. They are only turned on when no one is at home. Once again SPA / HOT TUB ISN’T AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.
The dogs are not allowed in guest rooms, guest Bath or common areas during guest stay. They are always under the host supervision. If the host is not home they stay in the laundry room. It has a doggie door so if you're outside they might pay you for a visit.
The City of Las Vegas has mandated drought restrictions so we are experiencing the loss of greenery. When the budget permits a drought tolerant landscape with be installed. All the grass is in the process of being removed.
