With somewhat limited English, Jean Michel and his family made me feel very welcome. It is a budget accommodation but very clean. Could use a bit more heating. Lots of travel advice was very much appreciated!!

Jean Michel was the perfect host -- from the warm greeting when we arrived, the glass of wine to settle us in, orienting us to Aix, dropping us into town, and the complete breakfast in the morning. The house is very walkable into the center of Aix. We enjoyed our stay at Jean Michel's and in Aix!

Jean Michel was waiting at the gate to great us, help with our luggage and settle us in to our room. The family were having lunch al fresco and invited us to join them. Very friendly and most informative about the city and how to get around.

Jean Michel was a very welcoming from the start. I was taking my mother around Europe for the first time and she remarked that her favorite host was Jean Michel of the Airbnb stays we had. The wifi works well, which isn't always the case, and when travelling it is essential for planning. He would prepare a wholesome breakfast every morning in a beautiful outdoor kitchen, and even gave us a ride once to the city center so we could catch the market before it closed on our first day! The room was tidy and there were ample maps and travel information available about the region. We highly recommend this place for your stay. The only issue is the walk back can be a bit of a hike--about 15-20 minutes. It was mostly concerning at night because some parts of the walk were quite dark but I think because we were new to the area and are two women. Aix seemed pretty safe otherwise.

Jean-Michel and Muriel were the best hosts you could ever have. They made us feel like family. We found them both to be very generous with their time and patience in listening to our broken French. They made our time in Aix more interesting and fun than it would have otherwise been. Thanks for giving us a fabulous experience and making us want to return again and again! Louise & Richard

We loved our stay at Jean Michel's! He was very kind and had everything ready for us when we arrived, after which he drove us into Aix en Provence and made sure we had the lay of the land. The breakfast he provided was very very good (his son made the bread we ate), and he helped us get situated for our day trip to Marseilles, even pointing out the boat we could take to see the Collonques and drawing a map for us. The house was very well situated. What a lovely host, would highly recommend!
