Absolutely brilliant place to stay. Very warm, welcoming house in a perfect location close to town with amazing views of the hills.
Martin was very welcoming and showed me round the house before he left.
The home was as great as the pictures on the site and the hosts were really welcoming, leaving their home in great condition and with clear instructions for everything. The location is brilliant, views from the loft incredible and superb base for exploring the beautiful Penrith and surrounding areas.
A beautiful house and a very warm welcome! Thank you!
What a fantastic house and location. This was a base for us while visiting Penrith for a wedding and made a great weekend even better. Highly recommended!
Such a lovely stay! 6 of us stayed here for 4 nights and it was an amazing trip, made even better by such a beautiful home and welcoming hosts.
The house was even better than the pictures and the kitchen had everything possibly needed!
Martin was on hand to help when we needed it, and was extremely helpful and patient.
Great stay - would highly recommend to everyone and anyone - families, friends and even dogs! :)
We arrived at the house to find a welcoming Martin and an even more welcoming Enzo, their super friendly dog! Martin showed us around and explained how the heating and hot water worked. When he left us to settle in we found they'd even left us a welcome gift of a bottle of wine!
We were delighted to find a fully equiped kitchen including a cafetiere...as a couple of us are coffee addicts. We only cooked breakfasts but there is everything you need for self catering
The place is as beautiful as the pictures with lots of wood and quirky character features. One evening we all made it up to the top of the house with drinks and snacks to watch the sun set and eenjoy the spectacular wiews across Penrith to the mountains
The garden has a table and chairs where you can eat a sunny breakfast or chill in the evening. We were out and about a lot and barely used the cosy sitting room, but the whole place is thoughtfuly decorated and has a lovely hand crafted feel.
Martin and Jo have a beautiful home, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there..... definitely recommended!
Martin and Jo have a beautiful home and it was an absolute delight to stay there. Martin and Jo were great at providing suggestions for walks, swims and runs in the area and made us feel very welcome. Definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Penrith!
