Stay in a fabulous renovated 1889 Victorian (on one of Boston Magazine's 10 Most Beautiful Streets in Boston). The house is filled with stunning antiques and you have access to a great billiard room and a cozy library just outside your guest room.
We are a short walk to the Red Line, the most convenient line in Boston, taking you directly to the Boston Common, the best shopping, and Cambridge, Harvard and MIT. Also, just a few stops from the JFK Library and South Station/Amtrak and Logan Airport.
Live in a mansion for half of what a small hotel room costs. It's grand, but not stuffy! We love having guests and meeting people from all over. I'm a native New Yorker, but I think Boston is the best place in the world to live. I love helping you customize your time here to suit your interests.
We offer free off-street parking so you can leave your car and hop on the subway just down the block! The whole house has high speed internet. I do not charge guests an additional cleaning fee.
This is the Orange Room with a great Queen size cottage bed and dramatic Ikat bedding, a desk, antique mahogany chest of drawers and wall mirror. The room is decorated with organic cotton bedding; we use all eco-friendly cleaning products as well.
We have 2 1/2 baths. A beautiful full renovation was just completed in the upstairs bathroom. The lovely upstairs half-bath is for guests exclusively. Guests may also use the beautifully renovated downstairs full bath. Spa robes are available for your use.
Please note that I never book all my rooms at once; you will never share a bath with more than another couple of people.
This is a gay-friendly, progressive, vegan home. Breakfast of muffins, bagels or other home-baked goods, seasonal fruit and fair-trade Guatemalan coffee is served.
Please read "House Rules" before you make or request a reservation. Two friendly dogs call this home; if you dislike or fear dogs, this is probably not the place for you.
We have spent hours chatting with guests, or none at all. We take our cues from you and are happy either way. I am usually home to help or answer questions.
Our neighborhood is beautiful and diverse. The homes are jaw-dropping. The people are friendly.
Five-minute walk to the best T (subway) line in the city.
This is the home of two friendly dogs. Strangely, I've had guests come who don't like dogs. I do not recommend this as it makes things difficult for all parties.
Pets are possible and would require a deposit.

We spent 3 nights in Andrea's & Marc's house where we had a wonderful time! The amazing house is perfectly located in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Everything was very clean, the bed so comfortable and we felt us so good in our orange room. Andrea is a very helpful, communicative and cheerful host who always made us a delicious breakfast. We also loved their three dogs, a lovely trio! We would love to return someday and we highly recommend this place!!!
This house is absolutely beautiful and Andrea was so nice and thoughtful. She even made me muffins the night before I left so I wouldn't starve on the way to the airport. I couldn't have asked for a better host. I highly recommend Andrea's house to anyone wanting to visit the Boston area!
Andrea and Mark were fantastic hosts, and their house is absolutely stunning! We were in town for a wedding, and didn't have any trouble getting to and from downtown (even late at night). We appreciated the delicious homemade breakfast and coffee, and enjoyed the company of their dogs as well. All in all, wonderful hosts, and a wonderful place to stay just outside the city!
My girlfriend and I stayed three nights at Andrea’s beautiful house.
We would totally recommend staying there! The room was big and really nice, everything was perfectly clean and the Victorian house itself is worth seeing.
Andrea is a great host! She gave us several tips for Boston and helped us out. The breakfast was self-made and served at the time, we wanted – yummy :)
The location is also good: the T station is only a 2-3 minute walk away from the house and takes you right into downtown area within 10-15 minutes.
I actually stayed in the front bedroom which was huge and had a fire place. The double bed was SO COMFY! The house is lovely and Andrea is very helpful.
Andrea is a really nice host. She and her dogs are friendly. I really had a good time when I stayed there.
Thanks a lot Andrea :)
My friend and me really liked to stay at Andrea's accomodation. We had a really great time there. Both, Andrea and her husband Marc, give us great advices for seeing Boston. The room was very nice and we slept well. It was clean and neat. The breakfast was really tasty. We enjoyed the food. Furthermore you have possibilty to have a nice converstion with them. The connection to the subway station and to Boston was great. We highly recommend the accomodation for your trip!
My husband and I stayed at Andrea's house for two nights and we absolutely enjoyed it. Andrea is a great host. We checked-in in the afternoon and only had a couple of hours before our dinner appointment in the city. So Andrea recommended a few places to check out before dinner and even drew a map for us.
We also enjoyed the home-made breakfast prepared by Andrea. Andrea made us corn bread the first day and the next day we tried her homemade peanut butter, yum...
I should also mention that the location is great. The train station (red line) is just five minutes away.
I will recommend Andrea's place to my friends and wish we could stay here if we visit Boston again in the future.
Andrea was a great host and we had a wonderful stay in her house in Boston! The house is amazing and our room was very comfortable and she also served us a great breakfast every morning :-) It was a pleasure to stay with you Andrea, and whenever we come back to the area we will most certainly stay with you again or just drop by for a visit. Thank you! Raphael
