We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is newly renovated and very nice. It's only a few blocks from the beach. It's a nice quiet neighborhood.
Our stay at this property was amazing!! The house is beautiful, super organized, immaculately clean and Jeanel was so responsive and accommodating! We had an incredible trip full of breakfasts on the deck and sunsets on the beach just down the block. We cannot wait to make this a regular vacation spot! Thank you, Jeanel! :)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jeanel's property. The house what just what we expected. Cute decor, nicely appointed, and a short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. The 3 bedrooms gave my husband, my two grown daughters and I plenty of space and privacy. Beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, floats and towels were all provided for our use. The house was well organized and everything marked for ease of use. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck in comfy chairs, and the hammock. Jeanel was responsive and easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend a stay at this Indian Rocks Beach house.
Our stay at IRB in Jeanel's house was fabulous. We loved the house right away and to be honest - we already miss the deck, the trees and the birds. The interior is veeery tasteful and you can tell an interior designer lives here. A lot of love in the details. Everything was very well prepared, marked and we felt at home instantly. If it were for the 13h flight we would come back every year... and even more.
We had a great vacation! The beach is very nice and there are not too many people. The house was perfect for us, everything was there what we needed! We really liked to be a such a nice neighborhood.
We had a very pleasant stay at Indian Rocks Beach as a group of six. The apartment is exactly as described in the listing and shown in the photos. It´s just 3 minutes to the beautiful beach. Beach chairs and parasols are provided with the apartment, which was very helpful for us. The handling of the booking was absolutely professional and easy - everything went perfect. The large hammock on the terrace is a highlight. We can definitely recommend the apartment! Thanks to Jeanel!
My family and I stayed at Jeanel's place for 11 days. It was awesome! We BBQ'd, chilled on the deck and watched my daughter play softball. The house was as advertised! Nice comfortable beds, great bathrooms, and well equipped throughout. Great cooking ware, plates etc..you can entertain with what she has provided! Relaxing decor, with a front deck that proved to be our hangout place. Hammock and all!!
We had one day of high winds and bad rain and Jeanel called to see if we were doing well and gave us directions on some preventative measures if needed. I truly hope we go back to So. Fl., whereas I would certainly stay here again. I would recommend this house to all who want a nice, relaxing, roomy, and perfectly located house to stay. The town of Indian Rocks is a block away, the beach...a block away, great ice cream store...a block away, Everything you need for a great vacation!
A Happy Renter
We had a great much needed vacation. The house was the perfect size and the porch was awesome. The walk to the beach was short. Thanks so much for letting us stay there : )

I have given much thought to whether I should write a review of this experience. I will never forget it. In my first contact last October with property manager, Jeanel, I wrote: I will be travelling with my two pet cats. She noted that I would need a veterinarian’s certificate guaranteeing that they are free of ticks or fleas. I obtained these certificates, plus proof of vaccination and carried these documents to Florida with me. Shortly before my check-in date, I e-mailed to ask if there is a telephone in the house. She replied that there is not, but if I were to contact Bright House networks, she was sure that I could have one put in for my stay, as they offer a snowbird option. Two weeks after arriving in Florida, I signed up for telephone service with Bright House, in my own name, presenting my driver’s licence as ID. When I arrived home in February, there was an e-mail from Jeanel, laying claim to my $500 deposit. She charged that I had impersonated her mother in order to obtain telephone service from Bright House, further stating that BH had let her listen to a telephone recording in which I posed as the homeowner. There was no such recording; I applied in person at the Bright House office in Clearwater. She seemed unaware that she would have required a subpoena to obtain access to company telephone records. She further claimed that I had violated pet restrictions by bringing my cats into the house. When I reminded her of our early e-mail discussions re my cats, she then said that I had not had their health documents cleared through airbnb and so had violated her restrictions. When I told her that airbnb does not process any such paperwork, she pressed on with a litany of false charges against my cats and me. They had, she said, damaged a dining chair, (no explanation provided) and had left cat hair, feces, kitty litter, and paw prints on the windows. She also claimed that I had flushed kitty litter down the bathtub drain, causing destruction of property. I kept the kitty litter boxes outside on the deck. The rugs that she claimed were damaged by ground-in feces are many years old and are well stained, but not by my cats or me. I disposed of the used kitty litter in plastic containers each week in the trash collection. I cleaned the litter boxes outside using the garden hose. The charge that I flushed kitty litter down the bathtub drain is too ridiculous for words. It couldn’t physically be done. In short, it was a money grab. She did not succeed in getting a cent of my deposit, and I offer credit to airbnb for examining the dispute. Lessons learned: (a) keep every single e-mail exchange between you and the prospective host, which I did; (b) when you first walk into the rental property, take date/time-stamped pictures of everything, which...
In ten years of having rental homes, I have never had a guest more disrespectful to our property. We have spent over $500 to remedy and repair the home after her and her cats stay...my previous guests and their positive reviews are accurate and speak for themselves. I have photos proving Judy's negligence, lack of respect for our home, and damage to the property. Not only will she never be welcome in either of our rental homes but we also, unfortunately, are no longer a pet friendly property due to the trauma to our home during her stay. It's sad but some people ruin it for everyone...we have a great home in a perfect location but sometimes people bend the rules to suit their own needs. We are a very affordable, accommodating rental and our pictures and reviews demonstrate our commitment to our guests and their vacation...we want everyone to have an amazing vacation at the beach!
My husband and I stayed there with our 2 dogs for a month and we absolutely loved it. Close to the beach, stores, parks...it was perfect. If we come back I will definitely stay here again! Five stars all around!
