The space

Beautiful little house only 60 meters from the desolated beach.

Pura vida comes to life here, in the small community of Punta Banco where people work together to keep their village pure and natural.

-hot shower
-wooden handmade furniture
-great ambiance
-big kitchen with all the proper utensils
-long stay is very welcome
-price can be discussed
-sea turtle reservation
-small shops and local restaurants around the corner
-safe environment (people, I mean, the snakes and spiders I can't account for)

-only 10 minutes from the second longest left hander in the world: Pavones.

-2 bedrooms, one with big bed, and one with bunkbed

We can arrange for a car to come pick you up from Golfito airport. It's an hour flight from San Jose, and from there only 2 hours by car.

Washing machine can be used at the neighbours.
No airco: the ocean breeze flows through the house. Ventilation fans in bedrooms.

The house was amazing. Ellis was more than helpful! we took our little son for his first trip out of the country, this place was perfect. The little village is filled with lovely people who love children. The surf was amazing and the beach was beyond beautiful. Pure vida....

Thanks Ellis! the spot is awesome! a few meters to the beach...neighbors are super cool! and the rustic tienda within one minute walking distance makes dinners and groceries really convenient. I only have one negative comment. I just wished i could have stayed two more weeks to reap some of the harvest off that giant mango tree out front! t'was loaded with fruit.:) thank you so much! all the best!

Ha ha, that's great, Joe! I am so happy to know you loved the Banco as much as I do. Come back soon! You had some nice cassados?

Amazing hideaway. Upon arriving, we were greeted by the neighbors who helped us with anything we needed, treating us like family throughout the stay. This home is in the very back of the block, offering plenty of privacy. Despite being mostly open in front, there were very few critters that bothered us besides the occasional Gecko on the wall. Ellis was very helpful and wrote a list of locals to contact for various activities (surfing, biking, etc.) The fresh breakfast prepared by the local market was also A+. I recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet getaway along a truly authentic Costa Rican beach :) Looking forward to another stay!

Great place and an amazing experience! I had never met a town entirely full of kind people before. Great surfing beach, never crowded and fishing off shore in summer. If you are looking for a relaxing peaceful place and do not mind a little adventure then this is the perfect place.

We went to Ellis' cute house to work on a construction in Punta Banco. The place was very clean, very well furnished and great located. We were litteraly 100 yards from the ocean. Thank you for your kindness and I hope I come backsoon. Best,
