  • Lindsay's flat is well-located in La Paz., in front of the Radisson Hotel. You can go walking to the main avenue or to neighborhood like Miraflores/Sopocachi in 5/10 minutes. And you can pick a taxi for other areas like "Zona Sur" just in front of the building.

The neighborhood is safe and you are close to bars/restaurants from Sopocachi/Prado.

The flat is perfect for one, two, three persons and offer a wonderful view on Miraflores, Av. Arce.

Finally, Lindsay, the owner, was very nice and available to give the information to enjoy La Paz city.

  • Very nice place to stay. Lindsay is very knowledgeable about La Paz and Bolivia in general. Rooms were nice, and the bed was comfortable. The location is great, just a short walk from nearly every part of the city.

  • I had a very spacious room in Lindsays appartment, with a tiny balcony... great for smokers! It's very centrally located in the neighborhood of Sopocachi, in the middle of everything with shops and supermarket close by. Lindsay is a very nice and friendly host and super helpful if you have any questions. Would stay there again! Thx!!

  • My goal travelling is to meet local people and as much as possible, to experience local life. Lindsay gave me exactly that. She was helpful, giving me a map and pointing out exactly what i wanted to see. She communicated really well via email and text and was warm and professional. But she also took me out one night and it was awesome! Just being with locals makes all the difference from being an extrajero. The bed was comfy, the room clean and the noise totally ok with ear plugs (normal city noise) or dies off as the city sleeps at midnight. This is a great place to stay. Thanks Lindsay!

  • Lindsay's apartment is conveniently located near Plaza Estudiantes, part of a major road running the axis of the city. It's near a street market selling fruit, vegetables, and other food. Restaurants, a supermarket, laundry are all nearby as well. The apartment itself is quite comfortable and the kitchen is small but functional, the bathroom airy and bright. There was an electric heater in my room which I was grateful for. There were two other tenants at the same time but they were not a problem. The apartment is in a small yellow building opposite a police department so security is not an issue. Lindsay was a good host who was friendly and helpful yet did not probe (the privacy and tranquility was precisely what I wanted). She even provided face and bath towels! As there is no bell to ring at the gate, be sure to call Lin before you reach so she can come down and open the gate.

  • Lindsay is a helpful host who accepted my reservation on short notice. She picked us up from the airport, gave us a mini tour on the way to her house, showed us around the apartment, and suggested some things to do. She is easily reachable as I think she works at home sometimes. She also called us a taxi to take us to the airport on the day we left.

Her place is located right near the main part of downtown La Paz, so it is very convenient to see the major sights, pick up food, and walk around, but also makes for a bit of noise and light pollution late into the night and early in the morning.

Excellent internet service and plenty of hot water in the shower. The building is very old, but I think that gives it the homey, real living feel. It's fairly clean for the age of the building, but it's definitely old and worn in.

I had only intended to book 1 room, but she gave us 2 which was a great bonus.

Overall, it was a good introduction for my first visit to Bolivia. (=

  • Lindsay is a great person, she made me feel at home in her place. I could ask her anything. She was always very helpful, reliable and kind. It's always been nice and interesting talking to her about life and work in Bolivia. I was supposed to move to another place but preferred to stay with her for longer. The appartment is simple but clean, spacious and very well located. Wifi works great. I can really recommend to stay with her.

  • We reserved 5 nights, but decided to look for something else after the first night. Although in a nice and central neighborhood, the appartment is in a bad state, and pretty noisy (there's a street corner nearby where cars constantly honk). The bed was so worn that we found it unsuitable for two persons to sleep in. On the plus side, although Lindsay was travelling, she organized both the taxi pickup (trustworthy but with 40 Bolivianos expensive) and the key handover, and kept in touch by phone and AirBNB messages. The living room and the dining room are spacious. The kitchen is fully equipped but could use a good clean. To conclude, we just expected a bit more given the price tag.

    Response from Lindsay:

    Estimada Katya,
