About This Listing
Private room and bathroom in historic Natchez, Mississippi. We are walking distance to bars and restaurants, we have WIFI, and we are nice as hell. Over 60 5 star reviews; you will love it here!
Come stay in our beautiful 1890 Victorian in downtown Natchez, MS, two blocks from the Mississippi river and one house over from the oldest corner in Natchez.
Our home is centrally located in the heart of downtown Natchez - perfect walking distance to the river, shopping, bars, and restaurants, not to mention house tours of the many antebellum homes.
The room you are staying in is a large private room with a private bath. It has a Queen-sized bed, a ceiling fan, and mini-fridge in the closet. For some reason, this room is the coolest room in the house (temperature wise) and we hear it's hard to get up in the morning because the bed is so comfortable. :) The television in your room is not hooked up to the satellite at the moment, but we hope you won't be doing much television watching anyway. :)
When you're here, please treat our home like it is yours. You have access to our kitchen, washer and dryer for laundry, both side and front porches, and anything else you may need. You can come and go as you please.
We prefer you check in after 3:00pm so we can make sure everything is ready for when you arrive. Check out is flexible.
The bus station is about a mile from the house and we regularly pick up and drop off our AirBNB guests. Let us know if you're coming or going by bus!
Natchez is really a one of a kind experience and we'd really love to have you. Book and you won't regret it!
Use the house as you would your own home! You will have full access to our 3400 square foot home, including the outdoor patio, kitchen, living room, and washer/dryer if you need to do laundry. Make yourself at home!
Zach & Shannon's home is large and comfortable and we were made to feel very welcome there. The room with en suite bathroom had everything we needed including a mini fridge. The location is great and walkable to everything in town.
We were one hour late but that wasn't any problem. Shannon offered immediately that if we wanted we could do our laundry and Zach advised us a good place to eat. The room was wonderful and has a bathroom included, so you really have a private room. This was a very good experience.
Zach and his family gave us a warm welcome and helped us very much finding just the right place to have dinner in Natchez. Although it was only an overnight stay for us, we really enjoyed being at their place very much. It's a beautiful house within a beautiful surrounding very near to the Mississippi. The guest room and the private bath room are very classy. It's too bad we had to leave that lovely place the next morning.
Zach and Shannon gave me a warm welcome, and great suggestions for dinner & breakfast, both of which were walkable from the property.
It was a lovely room, with a nice powerful shower en suite. I think I had the best night's sleep of my trip so far.
The house itself is on a lovely peaceful street with (if you're a British tourist like me) all the kind of old southern homes you've pictured in your mind before setting off.
Having been on the road for almost a week, I had a ton of dirty laundry so felt guilty to pretty much march in and put all my clothes in the washer straight away but Zach & Shannon didn't mind at all.
All in all, a great base from which to explore Natchez and the area.
We only intended an overnight on our way through from NOLA. Zack was gracious and helpful. Really nice house. Very large and comfortable room, with ensuite.
Lots of good examples of Antibellum nearby.
