On the right, the building where Casa Iulia Lucretia is placed. Just in front of it the columns of Temple of Mars the Avenger. Time machine! I've found this photograph at PortaPortese (the famous Rome's flea market), it is so fascinating! On the right there is the building where Casa Iulia Lucretia is... was... is placed nowadays.

The space

Casa Iulia Lucretia is an apartment located at the ground floor of a historic building of XIV century, just in front of a beautiful view on Augustus Forums (Fori Imperiali) and the huge columns of Temple of Mars the Avenger.

After the entrance hall surrounded by 'san pietrini' and historic columns you'll arrive to the apartment. At the entrance there is a kitchenette (equipped with everything you may need), then there's the main room with a wardrobe, a dining table, a futon that easily opens becoming an extra bed (70cm x 200cm : 27in x 79in ) and a comfy European-Queen size bed (160cm x 200cm : 63in × 79in).
Going few steps up you'll access to the anteroom (with washing machine and shelves where we keep the First Aid KIT and our cleaning stuff) and then to the bathroom where you will also find a relaxing bath-tub with shower.

For children 0-4 years old we provide a cot and a high chair, for free charge obviously!

Interaction with guests

My sister Lucrezia or I will be there waiting into the apartment to welcome you.
As soon as you have booked we will immediately notify our email and cell phone number, so we can keep in touch in case of need, even via Whats App or Viber!

Other things to note

In the district there are lots of restaurants, taverns, wine bars, pubs and much more. But the building is not attached to any of those places and the walls of the building are more than a meter thick, so your sleep will be very peaceful!

The area is safe, your neighbors will be our President of Italian Republic and the Mayor of Rome then I guess you can walk safe.
Anyway Rome is a big city, so if you are alone in the middle of night just don't ask "what time is it?" to sinister shadows in the dark ;)

First off - what a cool location! As soon as you step out the front door you are looking at the Forum. It was great to stay in an apartment in Rome. When I made my morning espresso I really felt like I lived there. Very different from a soulless hotel. Guilia was very helpful with tips on where to eat and how to get around. She picked us up from the airport (an option on the booking form) which was much appreciated after a red eye flight.

Giulia ia amazing host!!! Very helpful, friendly, kind and a Lot of patience to help us. We had problem with our flight and she waited us until 3Am!!! She brought a cake to my "mama"'s birthday. We are Very happy and grateful to her. We had a good time in Rome. The flat is Very close to the main tourist spots, many bars and restaurants as well. Thanks a Million Giulia. You are the best host ever!!!

Staying in Giulia's place is such an unique experience! It is just next to colosseum and the ancient ruins, which makes your holiday amazingly poetic. You could even sit in front of the forum at mid night, watching the moon and then just take a turn home. It is extremely convenient to go to most of the famous sights and also close to bars and restaurants. We went there in august but the room itself is quite cool. Also, Giulia is so nice and sweet that she helps us a lot during our vacation here. I actually kinda regret we didn't stay more.

We spent 3 nights here and don't think the photos do the place justice. Its comfortable, clean, with everything you could possibly need, and in the perfect location. Guilia was the perfect host, responding promptly, with a wealth of information and was always on hand with suggestions/help if needed. Would highly recommend, and look forward to returning.

We spent 4 days at Giulia's place and we enjoyed this stay a lot. It is centrally located near to all the touristic must-do's. The apartment itself is comfortable and we'll equipped. It is located in the nice neighbourhood. The check-in went very smooth and Giulia was really helpful and gave us a good piece of advice for our stay in Rome and also helped us with getting a taxi to the airport. The communication was really good and Giulia was always reachable. We are happy that we chose this place for our stay in Rome!

Great communication, wonderful checkin and ensuring we knew our way around town. Besides lack of AC like most European places, very comfortable stay in a beautiful room!

What a delightful place to stay. It's in a great location, just steps to almost all the most famous landmarks in Rome, and to great restaurateurs, bars and shops. It's beautifully furnished. The host is thoughtful and very helpful.

Ciao! My name's Giulia, I WAS an university student (I graduated in March 2017 - yuhuu!), a traveler, a volunteer and a freelancer. Few years ago my little sister Lucrezia and I decided to make an experiment: open in some periods my studio apartment to anyone want enjoy our ancient city. Since then we've met extraordinary people!!
