Darlene had left us some milk and coffee creamer, coffee and tea and a few other breakfast items. Darlene spoke with us and gave us some advice on local restaurants and beaches. The room was very clean and well laid out for a couple of people. The neighborhood and area was beautiful. We stayed two days and enjoyed the area immensely.
The studio from Darlene has a wonderful view on the see. The studio and the bed are extremly confortable, there is even a kitchen, where you can prepare some quick food. Darlene was extremly nice and helpful, giving us some tips to explore the area. It was a great stay to relax.
The studio was exactly as described, with a nice view of the water. My boyfriend and I were in town for a wedding so we didn't use the kitchen, except to make coffee and cocoa which were provided. The roof does slope so we couldn't both get ready in the bathroom at the same time. The only odd thing about the space is that there isn't a key for the studio. Terry said there is a complex way to lock the door but that they always keep their doors unlocked since it's safe. We ended up just putting my boyfriend's work computer in the car whenever we left.
We didn't get to meet Terry or Darlene, but the place was exactly as described in the listing. Beautiful location and cosy room.
Darlene and Terry were great hosts. They have a beautiful loft that was prepared with all the amenities promised. The balcony looks out onto the water - it's a wonderful view!
Terry and Darlene's place was wonderful. Amazing views with beautiful sunsets. Quiet location and convienent kayak put-in at the Town dock next door. The place was just as described. It was perfect in every way!!
The apt was as listed with a fabulous view. Cozy, clean place with a comfortable bed. Darlene had prepared watermelon for us which we enjoyed at breakfast.

Retired builder, lived and worked my entire life in the "burg" raised a family with my wife and now have grandchildren visit by boat - life is good. My mom and dad started out with a cabin rental business at Popham Beach - Kennebec Kottages - over 50 years ago - proud to say still in operation. I have a recreational lobster licence and enjoy the water as much as I can. Hope you get a chance to enjoy the good things Maine has to offer on your visit.
