Joe is a great host and his apartment is very comfortable. He leaves several thoughtful little touches to make your stay nice, like a bar of soap and fresh towels on the bed, an empty drawer and closet hangers for your clothes, and even a spare umbrella! The apartment was very clean and is full of attractive and interesting furniture and artwork. The apartment gets great light during the day, and is quiet in the evening - especially since the bedroom is in the back of the building. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was great with a soaking tub and excellent water pressure.
It doesn't get too much better than this location-wise. The apartment is near everything you need, yet on a quiet enough street to not feel like you're in the middle of everything.
Joe is very responsive and friendly and made all the arrangements very easy.
I would definitely recommend staying at his place. I hope it is available next time I am in town!
this was our very first time with AirB&B...we loved it..Joseph's place is really a great apt...excellent and super safe location in Brooklyn Heights..it was very close to our sons place...tons of shopping/food/subway access points...all very close to Joseph's place..great daylight and plants everywhere...very comfy!..we're hooked..my wife and i defiantly would tell you to stay here..Joseph went out of his way to meet us with his key...great instructions left too....thx again..r
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Brooklyn Heights at Joseph's apartment. It was very clean when we arrived and he made us feel very comfortable. The location was great as it is just a block from Henry and Montague streets. It is also very close to multiple subway lines. We plan on staying here again on our next trip to NYC.
Joseph is a wonderful host, very generous and friendly. The apartment is really really lovely, tidy and clean and the area is amazing with excellent transport links to Manhattan. We highly recommend both Joseph as a host and his absolutely gorgeous flat!
All good...very clean, great shower, and the communication was excellent. The apartment is very engaging, and the description is completely accurate.
This apartment was an absolutely delight. Centrally located on a quiet street in Brooklyn Heights, Joseph's apartment has everything you need for a two day trip to NYC or for a week long adventure. Not only is the apartment a quick hop into the city but it is super close to DUMBO, Brooklyn Bridge Park, and a number of other fun spots in Brooklyn. I would highly recommend this apartment and hope to stay there again!
Great apartment and location!
Joseph was really speedy and communicative, getting back to me within 24 hours and even calling to set up arrival details. The neighborhood is beautiful, centrally located, and quiet with lots of grocery, dining, parks and subway stops nearby. The apartment - full of light, so beautifully decorated and well cared for. And the bed and couch were so comfy, I have to admit that when I had a choice between going out to explore the city and staying in, it was a pretty tough decision. Great place to call your temporary home during your travels where you'll feel safe and well taken care of.
We loved our stay in Joe's apartment. It was a great size, decorted wonderfully, comfortable bed, nice powerful shower, big kitchen, fast wifi... What more can i say! Dream home! The location was perfect with an abundance of restaurants and bars near by. Definitely a place I could live very easily :)
Joseph's apartment is lovely and very well situated and kept. unfortunately we arrived in a heat wave and were very disappointed to discover the apartment only had one inadequate bedroom air conditioner! we had screened in our search for only places with air conditioning and really feel this was false advertising, frankly. the heat in the apt was unbearable. in other times of year, it would be fine and lovely.
I do apologize for not having an AC in the living room. I will amend my apartment description to clarify this. Unfortunately, do to the city's Landmarks Law, no historical buildings in my neighborhood are allowed to have an AC in their street facing windows.
I will say though that the bedroom AC is quite adequate for cooling the bedroom itself if the door is kept closed. I have lived in this apartment for 8 years and through numerous heat waves so I am sympathetic but unfortunately there is nothing I can do to have the living room be air conditioned.
