About This Listing
X+X In the heart of of London Bridge and Tower Bridge, more precisely the most trendy Bermondsey street, you will be on the South bank of the Thames mid way between Bond street and Shoreditch in a modern flat full of light with 24/7 concierge X-X
> Your room: a real kingsize double bed, a thick carpet for the cold weather of the city, wardrobe and a desk if you need to work. The bathroom is privately yours, provided with towels. X-X
> Common: there is a big common space kitchen/ living room and dining room, opening on a big terrace on the park. The kitchen is fully equipped as I am myself a busy cook (good cook would be pretentious but my friends have their habits on my menu) and authentic fool wooden floors. The LIVING ROOM corner is cozy and busy with books, many in French but also in English and other. There is a intriguing book on London history that I didn’t read yet but you are welcome to precede me in having a look. X-X
> Concierge 24/7 X-X
> Free fast WIFI is unlimited- so in the very improbable case you are bored please be my guest. X-X
Interaction with Guests
> I personally have lived in a number of countries, travelled around including solo, and speak fluently French if you need- my other spoken languages are less common ;-)
So let me know if and how I can help- I will always be happy to be there. X-X
> Local FOOD: as indicated, in addition to restaurant downstairs, we are around the corner of Bermondsey street with pubs, Vietnamese Pho and noodles, the famous Zucca restaurant, the noisy and hot tapas bar Jose and his big brother Pizzaro, the Italian Antico, many others and... Don't forget the famous Champor Champor (Malaysian flying high), the Borough market, and the very private organic market on Saturdays mornings on our square
> TOURISM: If you have time for theatre, there are the Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, the Old and Young Vic Theatres, the National Theatre and the BFI. If needed, at the ground floor of the building , we have the Shortwave Arthouse cinema with projection room and coffee/bar and local community life. You will also see a very busy moroccan restaurant and bar. The couscous is Moroccan, not Libyan nor Tunisian, just Moroccan… They are open since early in the morning for breakfast through lunch with take away or eat-in and diner. Having lived for years in Belgium, I have very high expectations on food, bread and pastries and I can confirm the food is to my standards amazing, totally fresh and balanced. I buy there my bread and cakes that are delicious… but also imported jam, olive oil… On Fridays there is an antique market on the square, with a fancy mixed crowd.
Don’t forget to visit the Borough food market which is amazing to have drinks and snacks, with organic fresh farmers’ food.
To go out, the area, including the Thames bank is a endless flow of bars, pubs, restaurants between Tower Bridge and Waterloo, so let me know which style you prefer and I can make suggestions. X-X
> The flat is highly connected, it is in zone 1- in addition to the Jubilee and Northern lines, just down the flat you have 5 buses connecting you to all parts of London/ Waterloo, Tate, Bond street, Shoreditch, Piccadily, Chelsea, Hyde Park… X-X

Parfait, tout était parfait!
l'accueil, le confort de la chambre et sa propreté, la localisation de l'appartement!
Amazing flat. Comfortable room. Fantastic host. I'll definitely book here again.
This is a really nice flat in a very convenient location. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable, while Sagit was a very welcoming host.
Communication with Sajit was quick and efficient . My son needed somewhere to stay in a hurry so I was happy to have him stay somewhere lovely and homely in a central location . He was happy that his accommodation was clean and comfortable and would happily recommend ..
Truly a beautiful comfortable flat in a fantastic location. I slept so well because Sagit was so welcoming and calm :) I enjoyed getting to know Sagit - she is a kind and courteous woman. The neighbourhood is wonderful to walk around in. It's got lots of great architecture, restaurants and it's an easy walk or bus to tube stations. I would highly recommend staying with Sagit. She made me feel safe comfortable and welcome in London. she was helpful all the way from start to finish. Thank you. I hope we meet again :)
The place was easy to find, I was made very welcome. The room is great with a big bed which was very comfortable.
I had a nice relaxing time staying with Sagit while working in London for two days.
There is a main road three floors down but I didn't notice any noise from the traffic even though I am used to living in the country.
Its just a few yards to shops, cafes etc. Allow 15 minutes to get to the underground if you are walking.
I will certainly book again.
Sagit was a very thoughtful, kind host and very good company. She was very well organised and quick to respond to messages organising arrival time and arrangements. The flat is in a very convenient location for London Bridge and the room is well furnished and kept to a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. Overall a very good stay.
About the Host, Sagit
I am both from Israel and Belgium. I love travelling and ski. I travelled in SE Asia, China, Tibet, Indonesia, Central America, US, Europe, Russia In my travels I had the chance to be hosted by private hosts and it was discovering the pleasure of staying at private homes rather than in sterile hotel rooms.
If needed, I speak French, Flemish, Hebrew- and otherwise we can use GoogleTranslate
I love meeting people, relaxing and even hyper-relaxing. Cheers
