The location is fantastic; Quite neighborhood just 1/2 mile to Walnut Street Walking Bridge, 1.1 miles to Whole Foods, Aretha Frankensteins Restaurant is a block away. Walking distance to the people spaces; Coolidge Park, Walnut Street Bridge, TN Aquarium, Hunter Museum.
NOTE: the bathroom is a full bath, but is accessed through the bedroom. Please be certain you are comfortable with all the friends you travel with :)
The queen sized bed is wonderful! The sofa bed is pretty nice too. 4 people can sleep comfortably.
We don't like the feeling you get at a hotel; You know they don't put fresh bedspreads or blankets on after the last guest, but we do. After each guest leaves we change all the linens, including the duvet cover so you never have to feel like your sleeping on a blanket someone else has used. The only covers we do not change out are the covers on the pillows used on the sofa!
This is a private apartment. There is no laundry, but you have everything else you need for 2 days, a week or a month.
Interaction with Guests
As I said this is a private apartment; There are neighbors next door, but we live a few minutes away. Beings so close allows us to meet with you if you'd like, but leave you alone if you'd rather :)

We had a great visit to Chattanooga. Tina was responsive and the space was quiet, cute, clean and great for walking around without being in the middle of the touristy part of town.
Excellent location! We walked everywhere. Clean, neat and very comfortable apartment. Great communication with host. Pictures accurately reflect the condition and appearance. Space was perfect for us. Two adults and a 13 month old.
Tina's home was a great space for our long weekend visit to Chattanooga. Very close to all the amenities of the city but on a nice quiet street.
This apartment/duplex was just what we needed for our five day mini-vacation to Chattanooga.
The shops and restaurants on the Northshore are all within a half mile to one mile walk. (But be ready - the incline leading up the street a hundred yards or so to the apartment is steep, at least for flatlanders like us!)
Being able to walk to Aretha Frankenstein's in less than three minutes for breakfast is a great treat.
We also walked across the bridge from the Northshore to downtown Chattanooga and back several times (about a mile and a half one-way).
Parking was very easy at the apartment, which was good, because we had our car and explored outside the city on two of our days there. Rock City, Signal Mountain, and Cloudland Canyon State Park are all within 30-45 minutes drives.
The apartment was very clean, has wi-fi, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was nice. (If you're planning on doing a lot of cooking, be aware that there isn't a dishwasher.) And the neighborhood is very quiet. (There was no one in the adjoining apartment while we were there, so we don't know how quiet that might or might not be. There's also a basement apartment. We occasionally knew when they were using a lot of water - lower water pressure for us - and got a whiff of the bacon they were cooking, but no real problems.)
One thing to consider, if you are considering a longer stay: there isn't a washer and dryer; so, you'll have to find a laundry mat.
Dealing with Tina was a pleasure. She answered our pre-trip questions and she made our weekend evening check-in/key pick up very easy.
All in all, a very good experience. We'd definitely consider going back.
My husband and I enjoyed my trip to Chattanooga. Tina was very easy to communicate with and quote responsive. The apartment was extremely clean and just up the hill from Aretha Frankenstein's. Highly recommend their waffles and pancakes. The apartment was in a super location and we took advantage of exploring the area on foot. My husband spent a lot of summers on Lookout Mountain so we explored the area as well as the Holiday Light display at Rock City. If you like good burgers you must try Urban Stack, really delicious and great service. Despite not so great weather we enjoyed our stay and Tina's hospitality.
Wonderful stay! The apartment was lovely, even better than the photos, and immaculate. It had everything we needed. It's in a charming neighborhood close to downtown. Tina was extremely nice and accommodating. Highly recommend!
Tina's place is lovely - really comfortable bed, a lot of space, and great location. Everything was within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this place to friends. Thanks for a great experience!

I love our small town feel, family friendly Chattanooga. My husband and I have only been here a few years, but can't imagine being anywhere else. The vibrant, comfortable, safe feeling we get on the North Shore makes it a wonderful place to stay while visiting friends and family.
