Fiona was in contact before and after our stay and was very helpful. A book has left out with all the info we needed about the house and the area. The home is right in the centre of Kinsale, perfect location. The rooms are decent sized and comfortable and the house is very clean and charming! Would definitely recommend staying here :)
Delphine, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. The last message I received from you was about the bins. I have received no further text, email or message on Airbnb thread regarding the missing children's item. I apologise that you think I didn't respond but I honestly didn't get any message... I will check with Eva & also am down on 31/7 myself and will recheck the place. Can you please describe the item by email to (email hidden) or with Airbnb messenger system. Thanks & apologies again. Fiona
This was our second time in Kinsale but first time for self catering, the location is perfect! So many options just down the stairs. Well appointed home was relaxing and slept our family of 4 very well. Appreciated the extra sink in the master! The kitchen was a help too for quick meals in between the great dining options in Kinsale. The house also has a great bookshelf of local/traveller interest.
Perfect place to stay with a family of 3 children in Kinsale. Kinsale is a wonderful place with plenty to do for the kids and adults alike. Fiona was a great host who checked in regularly by email to see that everything was OK.
Fiona made us feel very at home at her house in Kinsale. Her friend was able to help us get there after a long rainy day of travel and we found a welcome pack of breakfast goodies waiting for us. Her house is perfect - very well set up and very comfortable. We felt at home at once. It is very close to all of the shops, and wonderful food eateries. We loved the town of Kinsale and hope to come back and stay at Fiona's 5 Stoney Steps someday soon!
Fiona's house is in a perfect central location in Kinsale. Before we arrived we were a little concerned about the amount of steps to the house, given we have two small children, however they weren't a problem and the kids loved going up and down them. The house is cosy yet has ample room for a family of 4. Fiona has left plenty of information on tips and places to go around Kinsale, which was helpful. Car parking is also easy and we never had a problem getting a spot. We would stay there again!
Fiona was a lovely host! The apartment is in a fabulous location and serviced our needs very well. We had a minor hiccup with our check in and wifi which Fiona was quick to act and assist us to remedy the situation. Kinsale is wonderful and we'd recommend her suite to anyone headed to that area.
About the Host, Fiona
Marketer and traveller. I live in Dublin but rent out Kinsale - my home from home. When I am not working, I like to try new things and see new places. Love reading and lots of sport including hurling, rugby and golf.
