This 3000 sq ft spacious home sits on a small cove that's perfectly peaceful. The home is on a quiet cul de sac and modern and cozy. Cooking in the kitchen is a breeze with double ovens, lots of counter space, and new stainless steel appliances. Relax on one of the two decks, large patio or on the dock. The blacktopped path to the dock is easy with no steps! The state park is 5 minutes away. Note: lake is experiencing a drought, kayaking off dock is fine, no boat tie up until drought ends

Guest can use entire house including fun room in the basement. Guest can use dock and 2 kayaks with lifejackets. Guests can not use certain closets, the garage, two storage rooms in the basement or boat lift.

Other things to note
This home is brand new and built in 2024. When you walk in the front door, the wood floors and cathedral ceiling just pop. The kitchen is gorgeously designed and we've loaded it up with all kinds of cooking suppies. The new couches, TVs, decks, and construction ensure that all is working well and in good order! There are no steps to get to the dock, with a gently sloped blacktopped path to make it easy! The cul de sac is quiet, the neighbors are great. The basement has a large family fun room with a 2nd TV. There are 3 full bathrooms so everyone has a shower. From the basement fun room with a wine bar, walk out the patio doors onto a large patio with plenty of furniture to lounge on and relax. Enjoy the hammocks in the yard and the ambiance of the lights on the patio at nighttime. There's plenty of shade to sit under as you enjoy the lake view. Trees bring natural tranquility to the backyard.

I love to travel. I've stayed in all kinds of lodging from hotels, to tent camping to Airbnbs. This house is by far my favorite. Smith Mountain Lake is the best lake on the East Coast (I've been to Lake George, Lake Pleasant, Deep Creek, Sebago Lake, Moosehead Lake, Lake Gaston and a few others in the Poconos). I jokingly tell my kids now, my tent camping days are over after staying at Smith Mountain Lake!
