  • I strongly recommend staying with Eliza and Jenny...I can't recommend it enough! I have had a wonderful experience. Their apartment is very nice. I had full use of the kitchen and washer. Not only that, but they are great cooks and always tried to include me in their meals. They even tried to accommodate me, being a vegetarian, when they definitely didn't have to. The bedroom is comfortable, with lots of cozy blankets. There are two beds in the bedroom. There is a nice big window in the bedroom that looks out onto the mountains. The private bathroom is much nicer than my own bathroom at home! There is plenty of hot water and I had lots of water pressure morning and night. I am told that sometimes in Cusco it is harder to get a lot of water pressure in the evening, but I did not have this experience. There are two large closets in the bedroom as well as drawers. There is also a convenient night stand. The living and dining rooms have a sectional to sit on with a TV, with cable, and DVD player. They have a beautiful dining room table. There are hardwood floors throughout the apartment and a spiral staircase leads to the upstairs where the bedrooms and bathrooms are.

I can't forget to mention their extremely sweet doggies, Luna and Chasca. They are two adorable Pomeranian dogs. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs at home, and miss them, so it was wonderful to have a couple of nice dogs to pet. For those who are not pet lovers, do not let this dissuade you from staying here. They are well behaved and quiet and don't come upstairs to the bedrooms so you wouldn't have a problem. If you do love dogs, then it is a bonus.

Eliza and Jenny were so helpful in getting me acclimated to Cusco. On the first day I was here Eliza walked all over downtown with me getting me set up with a phone, looking at the gyms, finding altitude sickness pills, etc. The neighborhood is safe and the apartment itself is very safe with a gate and secure lobby. It was great to have a key so I could come and go as I pleased. It is a less than 5 minute walk to the Óvalo de Pachacutec. This is the jumping off point for lots of buses. There are also larger markets there and a gas station. From the oval, you can get onto the Avenida del Sol, which leads to all of downtown. They drew me maps of the buses and even took the bus with me once to make sure I didn't get lost or confused.

Again, I can't recommend them enough. The price is amazingly cheap and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

  • What can I say Eliza and Jenny are probably the nicest and gentlest people in all of Cusco (and thats saying something because most people there are!)

This is perfect accommodation for anyone travelling to this amazing part of the world... Really nice apartment (well located) seconds from the bus station and I walked each day down the main avenue del sol.

Really well hosted and professionally run... you will find everything you need and more from Jenny and Eliza before you arrive during your stay and when you need to leave.. they have the answers and recommendations for everything!

Thank you so much for a truly unforgettable stay!

  • a perfect apartment to truly experience Cusco from! so many people come in for a night, wake up and head to Machu Picchu when - in fact - this town boasts days and days of adventure... and Eliza's place is exactly where you'd want to be based. away from all of the tourist hoards, a nice 20 min walk into the main square, $1.50 cab ride home. she is so laid-back to deal/live with, it might even seem weird at first... kind of a 'what's the catch?'-type feeling. but no - just a genuine person doing wonderful things, who happens to have one of the most impressive [and safest!] homes in town... will definitely stay there again and highly suggest you do as well.

  • Very comfortable place and clean. Highly recommended. Eliza and Jenny are honest, trustworthy, and reliable. I have no complaints. They answered all my questions, and treated me like part of the family. They have two wonderful dogs, and they also treated me kindly. They booked my taxis, gave me a free delicious orange juice, and gave me some useful tips on how to survive in Peru. What more can I ask. Very pleased and happy with them.

I'm from the United States and have lived in Peru for the past few years. I'm excited to teach other people about Peru. I recently travelled to Colombia and Argentina and had the opportunity to be a guest with AirBnB and look forward to continue receiving guests at my home in Cusco, Peru.
