Self contained 2 small bedroom apartment in Dublin 1.
The apartment has 2 small bedrooms with 2 double comfortable beds, please note that there is not much space around the beds, so the bedrooms are small.
There is all so a small dining/ kitchen area with a fitted kitchen and you can prepare simple meals no problem as there is a 4 ring hob and an oven, a toaster and a kettle, a small fridge/ freezer, a washing machine, a small table.
In the living area, there is a very comfortable double sofa/ bed. We have got great feedback from previous guests as being a confortable one.
Please note that the bathroom is very small too.
Because the bedrooms are small and the bathroom is small, we are offering a very good rate especially considering that the apartment is very well located in the Dublin 1 zone and also considering that the apartment has the benefit of having 2 separate bedrooms which makes it private if colleagues want to share the apartment or 2 couples or friends...so we think the apartment is a great value for money if you don't mind a small bathroom and 2 small bedrooms.
The apartment has great advantages : it is a very quiet apartment as it is only surrounded by gardens, the beds are very comfy, has a central location in Dublin 1, we offer transparent costs for electricity: you decide yourself and pay cost price for only what you consume ,
6 minutes walk to O'Connell Street which is the main street in the centre of Dublin. 2 Minutes to the main football stadium : Crockepark, About 10 Minutes walk to Temple Bar where all of the famous Irish pubs are located.
Hi speed WiFi Wireless Internet is included.
The studio is close to the junction of North Circular Road and Dorset street. Dorset Street is on the main route for Dublin Airport. The number 16 Bus goes from here and is every 15 minutes directly to the Airport and cost about 2 euros. It takes less than 30 mins to the Airport.
The place was lovely! Very cozy…two small bedrooms and one main room with the living room/dining room/kitchen! You have to pay extra for electricity, but my friends and I managed to only spend 5 euro for three nights and four days! It was about a 15-20 minute walk to downtown! Very accommodating host! :)
Perfect stay!!!We stayed at Colm's and Natalie's for st. Patrick's day last march.Although we didnt have the chance to meet them they ve planed everything excellent for our stay. The apartment is nice, cossy, super clean and only 10 minute on foot away from the city center.I highly recomend the apartment for anyone who visits Dublin!
Perfect stay! Colm and Natalie have set up a nice little studio apartment. the beds were super comfy and the kitchen area is perfect for a casual stay.
the apartment is a tad cold at night and the bathroom is tiny.. but considering there is plenty to do in dublin its all you need! there is no reason even in the raon or snow to be stuck inside so i would suggest using this apartment!.
its around a 10minute walk to the city centre but after walking once or twice you get the hang of where you are.
you are literally opposite croke park stadium which we found was a nice little touch to see when you go in or out.
the only addition i would say would top the apartment off i would suggest would maybe be a tv, just for when you get in of an evening/night.
other then that not a bad word i could say to be honest :-) thanks for making Dublin our perfect getaway :-)
Colm was a wonderful host! He attended to all of our needs. The apartment was fairly small, but well maintained and the beds were incredibly comfortable! It suited our needs in Dublin and was very nicely situated near the city center. Also quite close to the aircoach to Dublin Airport!
Colm was a most gracious host. He called and asked us for our arrival time and met us at the door. He informed us about Dublin; places to go, etc. When we requested articles for the apartment, he promptly delivered. The apartment is very small and is a garden apartment. We had 6 adults and we did not fit very well into this small space. I would have preferred something closer to downtown. The apartment was very clean and well kept.
Colm's place was perfect for what we required (a base for going to a show in Dublin) and him and his partner were very welcoming - they left tea and milk for us along with a map of Dublin (which we didn't need but it's the thought that counts). Comfortable beds, stable internet connection and walking distance from town and trains.
This placed worked out really well of my friend and I. The beds were comfy and we ended up having friends near by which was great. Colm was a great host and wanted to make sure everything was right before we stayed there.
The rooms were damp and smelled damp. All the cupboards smellt of damp, so did the plates and pots...
Very cold in winter, maybe all the others who left raving reviews visited in summer....
The walls are paper thin, so we had to tip toe in the evenings.
Only electric heaters which you have to pay extra for with the electricity bill.
Not advisable with little children.
Our stay in Dublin was great. Natahlie and Colm were great hosts and made us feel very welcome.. The flat is very small but very cleanand homely... hot water and clean fresh sheets....
We loved staying in this flat! Nice and cosy and only a 10 min walk from town. Right beside the bus to the airport as well, and Colm and Nathalie are lovely :)
