We were very satisfied with our stay at the river cabin! The cabin was very peaceful, clean, and well-maintained, just as the listing and other reviews had described. It was just what we were looking for - a spot to get away from everything and just relax. Despite being tucked away, the cabin is also somewhat close to various shops for convenience and national parks for some great hiking. We will definitely consider returning in the future!
Great location with an amazing spot of the river. I am a local and chose to stay here due to its proximity to Greenbrier and Gatlinburg. The screened-in porch was our favorite spot especially when we were relaxing in the hot tub. We especially enjoyed not having keys to worry about and having a code to get in and out. This made checking in and out also so much easier! My recommendations to make this a perfect stay in the future would be to bring better pillows and a fan. There weren't enough pillows and at night you need a fan for white noise/air circulation. Also, you have to wash and put away all your dishes and trash before checking out so keep tidy throughout your stay to make it easier when checking out! I love Pittman Center, and eventually people will realize they don't have to go through Sevierville (Exit 407) and will be able to take the scenic route through Cosby/Foothills Pkwy for a better drive and no traffic. Thanks for a great vacation!
The listing was exactly what we wanted and expected. The place was clean, cozy, and quiet. The river rushing in the background was pleasant to good nights of healthy rest after a long day of hiking through mountains or malls. I enjoyed the one room cabin where the hot tub, bed, and kitchen was all together, but spread out.
My wife and I had a great time at the cabin! The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. The indoor jacuzzi was awesome. We wanted a nice and private stay, and that's exactly what we got! Definitely worth the trip. Only about a 20 minute drive to Pigeon Forge! A+!
My husband and I had a great time on our honeymoon! Secluded and cozy. I would suggest bringing water shoes if you are planning on getting into the water as the rocks are very slippery! Overall was great and was close enough to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
This is a "tucked away" cabin, close enough to the National Park and the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area, but far enough away to feel the peacefulness that the Smoky Mts offers. A great couples retreat! Josh was so nice and easy to work with. The cabin has the large tub, but also has a regular shower and bathtub, which was nice. The "light show" at night was amazing......the fireflies, (or lightning bugs as we call them in the south!), were unbelievable!! It was beautiful! The river is great! Convenience stores close without having to drive into town....enjoyed it so much!
This was our second time to River Cabin and we loved our stay just as much! The area is mostly secluded; the neighbors aren't that close which is really nice! The cabin was very clean upon arrival and large enough for two people to stay comfortably. The hot tub is a nice perk! Access to wireless is getting better in that area so if you want to unplug, it's getting harder to do! We just love it there and I'm sure we'll be back again!

One of my favorite destinations is the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee and North Carolina. The Appalachian Trail is an awesome way to see it, but I love to travel by car so I can be more spontaneous, stopping at colorful roadside attractions, or discover an amazing natural site, maybe a hidden waterfall or wildlife.
