The Guest Studio is a thoughtfully designed space that accommodates 1 or 2 guests. It is a self-contained unit with its own front door and is just 70 metres from the nearest bus stop and 1.9km from the sea.

E2 bus which passes the house connects to all other services including: Aircoach 700 and 702 services as well as DART and mainline train.

The space
The Guest Studio is situated on a junction between Dún Laoghaire, Deansgrange, Monkstown and Foxrock. It is within a few minutes walk of IADT Art College, the National Film School and the National Rehabilitation Hospital and is conveniently on the new E2 bus corridor that also serves UCD and Trinity College Dublin.

The E2 bus is a 24/7 service that runs between Harristown and Dún Laoghaire making the Guest Studio very accessible to travellers.
The coastline is a 5 minute hop on the bus or a 15/20 minute walk away. There are several fantastic walks along the coast and through the wonderful villages that melt into each other along the way.
Magical Glendalough can be reached by car in 40 minutes or with an organised tour.
The E2 bus also connects to DART and mainline train services making not only Dublin but the rest of the country easily accessible too and with a LEAP travel card, public transport in the city becomes very economical.
Busses runs very frequently during the day. We have included the E2 bus timetable in our photos to assist with your plans.
The Guest Studio is a beautiful, clean, high quality space: It is designed with the discerning traveller in mind who enjoys a high standard and their independence.
The studio, measuring 22 sq. meters, is completely self contained and is separate from the main house. It has its own entrance and free off-street parking. We provide a comfortable bed with high quality bed linen and goose down duvets to guarantee a good nights rest.
While the space is ideal for the solo traveller it also adapts to accommodate 2 guests (the daybed extends to a king size bed). Please see the photos which illustrate the interior layout incorporating the award winning ‘String’ system in the dining/workspace area as well as the single/king size bed settings.
NB. Please note the studio has only one bed which is configured as a single bed for solo visitors and converts to a king bed for twin and double bookings.
The studio contains satellite TV, Wifi, coffee & tea making facilities, a small fridge and a microwave oven/grill- essential elements necessary while on the move.
We offer a selection of complimentary home made breakfast foods such as granola, breads and preserves as well as a selection of teas, coffees and chocolate for our guests.

Guest access
The Guest Studio is a private self contained area with its own front door and private bathroom. Guests have access to the entire studio space which has tea and coffee making facilities, toaster, microwave/grill and fridge. We provide a complimentary selection of teas and coffee plus home made bread, preserves and granola to help you enjoy your stay.
The main house is private but we are always happy to engage with guests if you need suggestions and to answer any questions that might arise during your stay.
Guests with cars can enjoy free off-street parking.

Dún Laoghaire is a coastal town on the edge of Dublin and is 11km from the city centre.
Dublin city can be reached in 20 minutes by train from the coast or 30/40 minutes by bus.
The nearest bus stop is 70 meters or 1 minute walk from your door.
The seafront is 1.9 kilometres away: It is a 5 minute bus journey or a 20 minute walk
Whether you are interested in literary history or the great outdoors you will find an abundance of amenities in Dún Laoghaire and the surrounding areas of Monkstown, Blackrock, Glasthule and Dalkey which are crowded with an array of historic sites, great walks, many great eating places and pubs. And finally, if you arrive on an early flight and would like an early check-in, we kindly ask that you consider booking the night before as early check-ins are not possible if we have guests checking out that day.
