I had the most wonderful experience on my last night in Marrakech, right here in this Blue Berber Riad! Abi was extremely hospitable, and from the moment I stepped in I've felt right at home. The conversations we shared over tea, in the beautiful open-air yard, were simply lovely - Abi is a truly kind man with a big heart, one who has a lot to teach and share :) He is perhaps one of the most memorable host I've ever met: wise, kind, well-spoken, and simply pleasant! Even though I had an early flight, Abi woke up early to prepare a filling breakfast, and I truly appreciated him doing so! The room itself was very cozy as well, and I had a hot shower and a good night's sleep. This riad is also very centrally located, just a really short walk away from Badii Palace and the main square. I definitely would come back to this Riad the next time I'm back in Morocco :)

Response from Abdessadek:
When Crystal arrived to the riad from her three days trip in Sahara, (DISERT) it was a bit late at night. I presumed that she must been exhausted and just need her bed as she was due to leave the next day morning after breakfast. But, Crystal was OK to shared conversations although she was tired. Crystal was good, extremely polite, friendly, very respectful, and calm guest. So, I’ll definitely and highly recommend her to any future guests.

We had a great time here! Our host made a great effort to make the city accessible to us and very helpful in helping us plan and organise trips outside of Marrakesh. Given that the centre of Marrakesh is quite small, most things of interest to tourists are walking distance anyway but this Riad is particularly centrally located and a great base for a stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately, the room was not available for me when I arrived, and I was not informed in advance. I was taken to an alternative guesthouse a few streets away, yet however, as I was looking forward to the Turquoise Blue room, I was very disappointed with the alternative. The hotel looked absolutely beautiful and the staff friendly, and a great location, but unfortunately I could not stay there.

Response from Abdessadek:
When Meaghan have booked a room for her stay with us , it was for herself only. (ONE PERSON) But,when Meaghan turns up, it happened to be with somebody else as a couple. Wanting to use the room as a couple and not willing to negotiating the room rates differences if it was occupied by one or more people!! I'm sorry. But, I think that I did everything on my side and get them a room for that night, just a few doors down the street from us and it suit their budget as two people in the room. Unfortunately the couple weren't happy with the solution been made and walked away.

We would definitely recommend the Riad Blue Berber. We stayed in the turquoise room for 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and authentically decorated and the overall riad was very peaceful and relaxing. A tasty breakfast is included and Abi the host was helpful and friendly. The riad is in a really good location close to the main square. We'd definitely come back.

I'm Abdessadek and my friends call me Abi! I’m Moroccan original lived between London and Marrakesh. I’m an accommodation manager present and easy going guy. My pro pic been taken while I was taking one too. I think travel is essential. So, I like traveling, exploring, museum/Gallery, reading, and going to cinema. I like the flavor of both, modern and traditional artifact. I Enjoy my cocking, eating, and drinking with friends..I speak Arabic, English, A bit of Amazigh (Berber) and not that bad French.
