RENOVATION UPDATE.
The deck and its enclosed fencing has been removed to make way for a stone and brick construction.
Cozy and charming 1840's home in the heart of town.
MUST LOVE TRAINS.
Trains pass thru town 24/7 and can be heard at the house.
Steps from the National Park, feet from the Appalachian Trail. Relax by the fire, on the porch or on the river. We have something for every season and every age.
we have lived here In HF 26 yrs., 13 of those at the Gaytehouse. We live right next door.

The space
The Patio/Deck are undergoing a serious renovation. This does not currently disturb access to the home. It does however, not allow for outdoor seating at this time. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

Guest access
The Gayte House sits atop Magpie Pottery.
Entrance to the Home is up the stairs to the left of the house, across the yard and thru the french doors.
A large uphill back yard is great for pets.

Other things to note
parking for the house is on Church St behind our home, 156.
the parking spot holds 3 cars, one of which is reserved for Magpie Pottery, another for Gaytehouse guests.
