we were very pleased with our stay at ann's place. it was comfortable, well appointed, and the beds were excellent. it was very quiet, and the location was outstanding. it took us about 15 to 20 minutes to walk to all the major central city sights and she is only about 3 blocks from a dart station. ann was very friendly and accommodating. we would definitely book the unit again on another dublin stay.
Ann was very informative and courteous. The place was small, yet that is Dublin! It was great, we had fun and it gave us enough space. There is a great restaurant close by Chophouse - awesome food, wine and peeps! Highly recommend it.
Ann has been a great host! This has been the first time in Dublin and she has been so helpful with everything. Ann has become our extra-mum here in Dublin. We are so happy that we met her! We can greatly recommend her beutiful apartment.
Ann's place was perfect for my week long work trip to Dublin. The location is great, it's quiet and feels safe. It was very clean and it had everything I needed even though I don't think it's normally an occupied living space. Ann and I had a miscommunication about the arrival time (my fault) and she accommodated me, which was appreciated. Highly recommend and would stay here again. Thanks Ann!
Ann met us at the apartment when we arrived and showed us how everything worked as well as pointing out local places and things to do on the map. Apartment was tidy and perfectly as described.

About the Host, Ann
I was an Art and Home Economics teacher, a designer and a homemaker. I've always enjoyed cooking for my family and friends and well as making clothes and furnishings.
Now, as I'm semi-retired, I like to travel and meet new people! I love to explore other parts of Ireland as well as further afield. I enjoy getting to know an area and how local people live and spend their leisure time! I hope that guests who stay in my home enjoy their experiences too!
When not enjoying all the numerous delights that the city has to offer, you will find me walking along the coast road, which has been compared to The Amalfi Coast of Italy, past lots of famous homes to the heritage village of Dalkey, with its quaint shops, pubs and restaurants. Other times I'm at the top of Killiney Hill where there are breath-taking views in all directions of the city and surrounding area as well as the ocean. When not out walking, I travel on the little electric train, known as "The Dart" into the city or out along the coast.
Dublin is an easy city to get around. The list is endless of things to see and do there! However if the mountains and lakes are your thing, they are within easy reach of my home. Just a few mins down the motorway and you are in the Wicklow mountains, which is a walkers paradise and steeped in history.
When I travel to other parts of the world, I prefer to stay in Airbnb places rather than hotels when I can!
