The apartment is situated in a very safe neighbourhood. Supermarkets, Restaurants and Pubs are all close by.The Grand Canal DART Station is across the main road. The Aviva Stadium and the RDS are close by. Ballsbridge village, with its excellent restaurants, pubs and park are at the end of the road. Stephen's Green, Trinity College, the National Gallery, Grafton Street and Temple Bar are just a short walk away.
As the apartment is very central, nowhere is very far to walk.
The airport ( AIRCOACH) and city bus stop is just around the corner.
The DART, which is a little electric train, can take you all around the bay, from Malahide beach in the north, via the city centre, to the pretty village of Dalkey in the south and beyond.
Other Things to Note
If you are looking for a quiet retreat, yet close to the city centre with all its attractions, then this is a perfect place to be!
Treat this place as you would your own, with respect and care!
Ann was very informative and courteous. The place was small, yet that is Dublin! It was great, we had fun and it gave us enough space. There is a great restaurant close by Chophouse - awesome food, wine and peeps! Highly recommend it.
Ann has been a great host! This has been the first time in Dublin and she has been so helpful with everything. Ann has become our extra-mum here in Dublin. We are so happy that we met her! We can greatly recommend her beutiful apartment.
Ann's place was perfect for my week long work trip to Dublin. The location is great, it's quiet and feels safe. It was very clean and it had everything I needed even though I don't think it's normally an occupied living space. Ann and I had a miscommunication about the arrival time (my fault) and she accommodated me, which was appreciated. Highly recommend and would stay here again. Thanks Ann!
Ann was a great host, very welcoming. Neighbourhood/location was great, very accessible. To any future visitors, take the Aircoach from the airport not the Airlink, as the stop is very close to the house.
Ann met us at the apartment when we arrived and showed us how everything worked as well as pointing out local places and things to do on the map. Apartment was tidy and perfectly as described.
Ann met me on my arrival to the apartment and couldn't have been more helpful. The fridge was stocked with basics and she helped get me settled. The apartment was clean, quiet, and very much like the pictures. Thanks for a great stay, Ann!

My apartment is located in leafy Ballsbridge, which is a great location for walking into the City centre. There are great pubs and restaurants on my doorstep! Also public transport is close by which gets me to other parts of the city and surrounding areas.
When not enjoying all the numerous delights that the city has to offer, I love to go on the little train called "The Dart" and travel 30mins to Dalkey and Killiney beach to the south as well as Malahide and Howth to the north. I have often watched the dolphins playing in the ocean! When at Killiney, I love to walk along the coast road which has been compared to The Amalfi Coast of Italy, past lots of famous homes to the heritage village of Dalkey, with its quaint shops, pubs and restaurants.
Other times I go uphill to the top of killiney hill where there are breath-taking views in all directions.
Dublin is an easy city to get around. The list is endless of things to see and do there! However if the mountains and lakes are your thing, they are within easy reach of my home. Just a few mins down the motorway and you are in the Wicklow mountains, which is a walkers paradise and steeped in history.
I love to travel to other parts of the world and I use Airbnb when I can!
