The Space

A beautiful 2 bedroom home, within a group of secure apartments, on a quiet leafy lane in Ballsbridge. The city centre is but a short walk away.

Guest Access

The apartment has 1 double bedroom with king-sized bed and ample wardrobe space. There is a single bedroom/dressing room which looks out on the gardens. There is a brand new bathroom with plenty of towels provided. The fully fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, washer/dryer and large fridge. The cosy lounge/dining room has broadband TV, and WiFi. The apartment has patios to front and back, which looks out over the well maintained, communal gardens.

Interaction with Guests

I will meet you on arrival to make sure you know how everything works. I can be reached by phone and email to answer any queries you might have during your stay. Most of the time I will be no further than 1/2 hour away.

The Neighborhood

The famous pub "The Beggars Bush" is across the road and "The Gasworks" pub is just around the corner. The Aviva Stadium and the RDS are close by. Ballsbridge village, with its excellent restaurants, pubs and park are at the end of the road. Stephen's Green, Trinity College, the National Gallery and Grafton Street are just a short walk away.

Getting around

As the apartment is very central nowhere is very far to walk.
The airport and city bus stop is just around the corner.
The DART, which is a little electric train, can take you all around the bay, from Malahide beach in the north, via the city centre, to the pretty village of Dalkey in the south and beyond.

Other Things to Note

If you are looking for a quiet retreat, yet close to the city centre with all its attractions, then this is a perfect place to be!

  • I didn't get to meet with Ann, but everything was great!

  • Staying with Ann was an absolute treat. She was extremely helpful with providing local recommendations for food and hot spots. She also gave some insight on places to go to explore outside of Dublin, which is great if you'd like to see what adventures lie outside the city. I was also extremely grateful for how thorough Ann was in showing me each and every part of the apartment, never leaving out even the most minute detail. The apartment was spacious, clean, and located in a great area. I'd recommend anyone visiting Dublin to check out Ann's listing.

  • Nice flat in what our friends informed us was the poshest neighborhood in Dublin! We (myself and my mum, touring Dublin) really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Just minutes from the lovely Grand Canal where there are grocery stores and restaurants, literally a stone's throw from the DART line, and a pleasant walk into the city. Ann very kindly met us and gave us a thorough introduction to Dublin and lots of information about good places to go see, and left us some snacks and tea and coffee. The beds were super comfy and the dark window shades meant that we got good sleep even though it was light from 4am. The place is set up with plenty of drawer space and a working kitchen so it would be great for people staying a bit longer. Wish we could have stayed!

  • Truly a hidden gem in Ballsbridge! Ann's place is so close to everything, it was easy to get to and from work, around for a bite, and grocery shopping. The apartment was very clean and as advertised. It was a very secure complex, with nicely landscaped grounds, as well.

What is often the case at listings is uncomfortable beds. But the master bedroom's bed was SO comfy! I got really good rest while there, without waking up to backaches in the morning. I'd thoroughly recommend to stay here again.

  • Ann was a great host, we arrived to a warm Irish welcome!
The flat is very conveniently located for the centre of Dublin. Especially hand for tech companies that are based close-by.

  • My sister and I had a wonderful stay in Ann's apartment. It was perfect for our needs, giving us two private bedrooms and plenty of common space for relaxing. The complex is very quiet and safe, with nice gardens.
The location is great for walking in the city and amazingly close to the grand canal dart station which allowed us to tour the coast areas outside of downtown.

  • Ann's apartment is great! Very well furnished in a high scale and secure apartment complex. Ann was very welcoming and accommodating on check-in time. I would definitely recommend for a stay in Dublin!

  • Ann’s flat is in a lovely, secure, quiet complex within walking distance of the City centre. The nearest Dart station is 2 minutes away. Grand canal docks and the aviva stadium is a 5 minute walk, Grafton Street and St Stephen’s green is 15 minutes away. I’d recommend Paulie’s pizza for dinner one evening and Junior’s for Sunday brunch.

The flat has everything you’d need for a nice stay – well equipped kitchen (ann left some scones out for us when we arrived), nice bathroom, a double and single bedroom, TV and broadband. Ann was always available if we had any problems. Definitely recommended.

I live on the outskirts of Dublin's fair city in a wonderful location. On my walk to the beach, I pass the homes of the rich and famous ie. Bono, the Edge, and Enya's castle! I have often watched the dolphins playing in the ocean! I love to walk back along the coast which has been compared to The Amalfi Coast of Italy, past more famous homes to the heritage village of Dalkey, with its quaint shops, pubs and restaurants. Other times I go uphill to the top of killiney hill where there are breath-taking views in all directions. The city is only 30 mins away. I usually take the little electric train, known as The Dart, which follows the coast. Dublin is an easy city to get around. The list is endless of things to see and do there! However if the mountains and lakes are your thing, they are within easy reach of my home. Just a few mins down the motorway and you are in the Wicklow mountains, which is a walkers paradise and steeped in history.
