Ann was such a perfect hostess, she came through for me even though it was a really last minute booking and was extremely pleasant with getting everything I needed ready for my stay.
We loved staying here! The location was really perfect, not too far to walk to anything and right outside the middle of all the hubbub so it was pretty quiet. The added security of a gated apartment was nice. Ann was so sweet to meet us later than expected to let us in. The place was clean and a great last stop on our way home. We tried two of the restaurants she suggested and thoroughly enjoyed both. One word of advice, if you're planning on using the washing machine and aren't used to that kind see about a crash course, it outsmarted me lol. I'd definitely stay here again.
This flat is a perfect place for 2 or 3 persons. Ann is so nice and accommodating. She has thought of everything! Wireless connectivity, washer dryer instructions, map to nearby grocery store, pubs, and restaurants. She has brochures and maps galore in the flat for anyone to find their way around. For anyone coming from the airport taking the bus to this flat is very, very, easy and much less expensive. The 702 bus leaves you one block and a half from the flat, it is the bus is express, it is the third bus stop, just perfect! (The bus has wireless as well!!!) There is nothing I would ask Ann to change. Thank you for a great place to stay and great experience in Ireland. I highly recommend this flat for someone who wants to have a full day, then come back and relax in a private space.
I booked this apartment for 4 days while settling my daughter into her university accommodation. Ann was there to meet us, as arranged, and showed us how everything worked. Very secure complex, with underground parking too for our hire car, although I wouldn't want to park anything bigger than a compact car there! The flat was clean, uncluttered and had everything we needed, and above all was REALLY peaceful. Very comfortable beds and towels. Ann gave us maps and directions and handy tips on where to eat etc. It's a nice, safe-feeling neighbourhood, very convenient for the bus into the city centre or a 20 minute walk. Five minutes walk to local convenience shop (useful for paying M50 tolls and buying provisions). Also lovely places to eat - The Chop House was a real treat (£££) and Juniors, which was fun, small and had delicious food. Great location for going to the Aviva stadium. I will definitely be staying here again if possible.
Ann was a fantastic host and the listing was perfect!
In addition, Ann was kind enough to put together a very personalized map of the area, some local attractions, and even a map to my office from the listing.
Thank you Ann!
The hidden gem in Ballsbridge was exactely as decribed . Ann was
there to meet us and was more than accomedating . I left a pair of
shoes there and she arranged to meet us 10 days later when we
returned to Dublin to return them to me. The Apt was very nice and
the location was great ! The Old School House just around the
corner was a fabulouse resturant ! Would stay here again.
Our family of 3 had a great stay at Ann's lovely flat. The flat was clean, comfortable, and the location is excellent for getting into the city center and to various neighborhoods north and south side that we went to visit friends. Everything was in working order and well stocked. We were able to walk to parks and restaurants, and since we also had a car, having the underground parking space was essential. Ann was perfectly accommodating and met us on arrival, even though we were delayed a few hours and she had to wait around to meet us. I would highly recommend this flat for a stay in Dublin for comfort, convenience, and access!

About the Host, Ann
I was an Art and Home Economics teacher, a designer and a homemaker. I've always enjoyed cooking for my family and friends and well as making clothes and furnishings.
Now, as I'm semi-retired, I like to travel and meet new people! I love to explore other parts of Ireland as well as further afield. I enjoy getting to know an area and how local people live and spend their leisure time! I hope that guests who stay in my home enjoy their experiences too!
When not enjoying all the numerous delights that the city has to offer, you will find me walking along the coast road, which has been compared to The Amalfi Coast of Italy, past lots of famous homes to the heritage village of Dalkey, with its quaint shops, pubs and restaurants. Other times I'm at the top of Killiney Hill where there are breath-taking views in all directions of the city and surrounding area as well as the ocean. When not out walking, I travel on the little electric train, known as "The Dart" into the city or out along the coast.
Dublin is an easy city to get around. The list is endless of things to see and do there! However if the mountains and lakes are your thing, they are within easy reach of my home. Just a few mins down the motorway and you are in the Wicklow mountains, which is a walkers paradise and steeped in history.
When I travel to other parts of the world, I prefer to stay in Airbnb places rather than hotels when I can!
