Interaction with guests
I am happy to greet my guests and offer help locally if I am available.
Hailed to be the longest, oldest street in Britain and steeped in history, Winchcombe was once a county and prosperous wool and silk producing town. Now a thriving local community that regularly welcome visitors from all over the world. Surrounded by rolling hills , many places of interest and a range of local Independent Shops, Pubs and Restaurants all within walking distance. Winchcombe is an enchanting place to stay. It is also a prime location for walking. You will find a selection of leaflets in the cottage and a helpful local tourist information office or check out (URL HIDDEN) for more details.
Well serviced by buses to Cheltenham, Broadway and Stratford-upon-Avon and steam trains also run to local stations. Easy access from Junction 9 of the M5.
Other things to note
There is are two steps from the street level up to the front door and in the garden. Please be aware that the staircase to the bedroom and bathroom is steep. For your safety please hold the rails when ascending and descending.
Small children must be supervised at all times in the garden as there is a pond.
The sofa bed is a small double and 4ft wide. As it is in a south facing garden room, you may find it helpful to have an eye mask if the light disturbs you and you prefer a darker environment to sleep in. Alternatively if prearranged, I can supply an air bed for use in the lounge.
Smoking is NOT allowed anywhere in the cottage.
As Peardrop Cottage is terraced, please be respectful and considerate of my wonderful neighbors, especially late at night.
Stripping of the beds prior to departure would be appreciated.
Any breakages must be paid for.
Dispose of all rubbish and recycling in the manner described in the House Manuel.
