Thanks for your stay. It was truly a pleasure meeting the two of you during your visit to visit your grandchildren. We appreciate your 5 star rating in the following ares: check-in, cleanliness, communication, location and value. Yet, we were baffled by your overall rating of 3 stars. It just doesn't seem to match the data you freely provided.
The stairs are in line with state code standards which are an average of 12-13 steps per flight. There are a total of 13 stairs from the first floor to the 2nd floor. There are also a total of 13 stairs from the 2nd floor to the the 3rd floor. The rise and run of the stairs is also in line with state code standards. We empathize with senior citizens that may be struggling with mobility issues and may be better suited to the convenience of a one story dwelling. We do believe in the need to provide accurate information in that the rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor of our home. Therefore guests, particularly senior citizens, those with mobility challenges and other health issues can make informed decisions.
Although we are pleased that you were able to go to the third floor, we are a bit surprised about this since your room was on the 2nd floor. Unfortunately, this action made other guests both concerned and uncomfortable. Why did you violate the quiet enjoyment of others? Were you curious? We had a long term guest and a repeat guest who customarily leave their rooms unlocked. We have assured them that they can now relax as you and your husband have left the premises.
Very truly yours,
