The Camping Hut was designed for a family friendly “glamping” adventure. The Hut is located right next to the Fish Lake Trailhead and adjacent to a 14 mile paved bike path, 5 miles from Talkeetna.
Hot shower and flushing toilet are located across the driveway.
We have sleeping bags, pillows, and towels available for a fee. Otherwise, you need to bring towels/sleeping bags. See listing for what we provide. There are ladders to the two lofts. It is 2.5 hour drive to Denali National Park.

The space
There are three other cabins on this property, all designed to offer some privacy.
What we provide: kitchenette with running, hot and cold potable water, microwave, two dorm size refrigerators, toaster oven and a two burner counter element. We have two single fold down couch futons on the ground floor and four 3-inch memory foam camping mats, two in each loft. There is a single shower with hot water, and a single flushing toilet across the driveway. Bathroom will have one extra roll of toilet paper. We have electricity and a thermostat electric wall heater.
What you will need to bring: Sleeping bags or quilts, pillows, towels/linens, firewood, fire-starter/matches, and toiletries. (Summer, sleeping bags, pillows, and towels are available for an extra $10 fee/per person.) We have a set of pots and pans, paper plates/bowels and plastic silverware.
Please let us know if you want to add an RV to your party. You can bring extra family/friends in an RV with an extra fee.
We have WiFi.
Lofts accessed by moveable ladders, lofts are not appropriate for small children or people with mobility issues, max weight 275lb.

Dogs, max 2, on approval with pet fee and agreement to pet policy.

We have summer sleeping bags, lightweight measuring 83“ x 30“, pillows and towels available for an extra fee. If you would like this service, it is $10 per person/per set. Please let us know in advance. For this fee you will receive one summer sleeping bag, one pillow, and one towel per person on the reservation. The cabin has electric heat if needed.
No fish cleaning on site. No smoking/vaping inside.

Fish Lake Landing neighborhood is quiet, wooded, and we are just five miles from downtown Talkeetna. You can access the Fish Lake trail head right over the hill at the end of the driveway. The trail is about a 0.6 miles from the cabin to Fish Lake if you bring pack rafts, canoe, or paddle boards . In the winter the multi-use trail is groomed and connected with many other trail systems and you can ski, fat bike, skijor, walk the dogs, snowshoe or hike for miles! The neighborhood is adjacent to a 14 mile paved bike path.
