The Mojave Wanderer Room is Room #2 of the five rooms at Spin & Margie's Desert Hideaway, a quiet oasis retreat on 29 Palms Highway, less than 5 minutes from the center of Joshua Tree. This charming room features a kitchen and a small second room with two single beds, perfect for children, family, or friends. The room opens into our shared, tree-shaded courtyard. Situated on 2.5 private acres with a pool and ample free parking. Peaceful, secluded, yet close to town and the National Park.

The space
The main bed is queen sized, and there is a second bedroom with two twin beds. Private bathroom, kitchenette, closet for clothes, smart TV with DVD player and DVDs available. The smaller bedroom can be closed off with its own door and even has a separate entrance.

Guest access
In addition to your room with kitchenette and bathroom, feel free to explore our spacious grounds with many trees, walkways, sitting areas, and our pool. A barbecue is also available outside.

I am always happy to speak with guests so we can get to know each other, but if you prefer to be quiet and secluded we will follow your lead.

Other things to note
We are quite close to Joshua Tree National Park and there is a hiker’s entrance about 1 mile the south of us. However, if you intend to drive into the park, the Joshua Tree National Park Visitors’ Center is less than five minutes away in the center of the town of Joshua Tree, and from there it is a 5-mile scenic drive to the official West Entrance.
