Lily was an excellent host. She was quick to respond to our questions and requests. Her place is nice: clean with everything that we needed but a bit cramped for 3 or 4 people (small places are typical of New York from what we could tell). The master bedroom is quite large, with adequate storage and a comfortable bed. The pullout couch bed was not comfortable (saggy in spots with springs poking into the back). The hallways leading to the apartment are dingy (nothing she can do about that, just don't be surprised when you enter) but the apartment itself is very comfortable. If you drive, be warned that parking will set you back $35 (or more) per night as on street parking is very limited and not available every night. We really enjoyed walking across Central Park to work at the American Museum every day while we were there. It's about a 30 minute walk, a nice way to start and end the day. I am sensitive to smoke and other odours and was pleased that the apartment was odour-free and the windows opened to allow fresh, cool air in when desired.
We had 4 people in our party stay at this particular location. I did not personally meet with Lily, but another from our group did and had only kind words to say about her. She was polite and easy to work with in regards to setting up arrival. The apartment itself was overall nice. Nothing too fancy but certainly livable. My husband and I shared the one bedroom while the other 2 stayed on the pullout in the living room. Both beds were comfortable. The apartment was stocked with simple essentials, which was nice if you forgot a towel, shampoo, or even coffee. There was even a Kurig!
A few things to watch out for:
The stairs are a bit treacherous if your lugging around heaving suitcases and are not for the weak.
Also, we had to end up replacing one of the keys as it was so brittle it snapped off in the door to enter the apartment building. It was an easy walk to the locksmith and $2 fee so we weren't too bent out of shape over it.
The apartment is located in a quiet, safe part of town so nothing to worry about there. The only problem was it was quite a walk to catch the subway from this location. Bring your walking shoes!
Overall, we were happy with our stay and would recommend others to give it a try.
The apartment is small but clean and in a great location. Lily was very communicative and I would recommend the apartment to other guests.
The apartment was just as advertised. All basics were provided (linen, towels, paper products, coffee). The apartment was clean and neat and just right for our needs. Very conveniently located, safe and close to grocery, restaurants, mass transit. Lilly was responsive and reliable. A great deal to visit Manhatten!
It was a great pleasure for us. The apartment is situated well in Manhattan (restaurants, subway and buses nearby), and it is perfect for a week in NYC.The welcome was warm and pleasant.
Thank you Lily !

Great little place in the upper east side. Well positioned and we really enjoyed our stay
Lily was a great host, very easy to communicate with both before and during our stay in New York. She responded quickly to all messages and answered all my questions. The apartment was exactly as pictured and described. It is in a great location in the upper east side and was perfect for our stay in New York, I would definitely stay here again if I were to visit in the future.
