  • Patricia has a lovely home and we had an amazing spread for breakfast!

  • I stayed in Patricia's lovely house for one night, and I'm glad I chose her place. Patricia is a great host, made me feel at home instantly and provided everything you'd expect from a great B&B, including an amazing breakfast and even a sandwich to go ! :)

The house is well located close to the lake and in a very quiet area.

I'd recomend to stay with Patricia, if you're travelling to this beautiful part of the world!

  • My parents, my partner and I stayed with Patricia and Tom for 3 nights and could not have had a better time. Both Patricia and Tom are exceptionally welcoming and will bend over backwards to make toy feel welcomed with a warm smile, great chat, amazing carrot cake and tea!!

The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. But the absolute stand out is the hospitality of the hosts, it is second to none! The location is beautiful and quiet and short drives to some very picturesque areas.

I would fully recommend this to any adult family looking to relax and experience true Eire!

  • Patricia & Tommy greeted our group of six with open arms, and even had tea & coffee waiting! It felt as if we were arriving at a family member's house; there was so much warmth in their welcome. They truly enjoy having people stay at their place.

The full Irish breakfasts were so delicious. Patricia loves cooking and baking - hope you get a chance to try her home-made croissants. The spacious rooms are kept spotlessly clean.

They are extremely thoughtful of others - we had our 77-year-old mum with us, and they gave her a room on the main floor so she would not have to climb stairs.

And then as we are leaving, I find out that Patricia also fishes! She does it all, she is a wonder woman!

If we ever get a chance to return to Ireland, I will first check dates with the Timlins before booking our trip.

We arrived as strangers; only to part as friends who will stay in touch.

  • I had a wonderful time at Lisdovogue House during my three week stay. Like a home away from home. Patricia and Tommy have a lovely house and are so welcoming I felt like I had my own irish parents. Delicious dinner every night, speedy wifi, and set in the lush countryside of Co. Mayo, I will definitely stay with them again next time I am in Knockmore!
