About this listing
This double twin room is part of a riad located in the highly sought-after Moulay Abdelkader neighborhood. Jemma El Fna Square and the heart of Old Medina are only 300 metres away.
Guests will feel a world-away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech in this quiet riad. Its rooms are of the traditional inwards facing style, and offer a surprising degree of privacy and seclusion from the outside world. An open-air courtyard with a lounging area opens onto a communal salon offering satellite TV and Wi-Fi.
The double bedroom opens onto a mezzanine level. Breakfast is included. Refreshments and evening meals can be taken in the courtyard or on the patio terrace. The patio terrace boasts scenic views of Marrakech and the Atlas mountains.
The riad is a 30-minute drive from Marrakech Airport. Take a taxi for just 10 minutes by taxi to the most popular attractions in the city including the Majorelle Gardens and Jardin de l'Agdal.
Individual and couples hammams, massage and spa treatments, as well as a variety of excursions, henna tattoos and official souk guides can be arranged by the English speaking staff.
The access to the kitchen is for staff only. Please inform us on a departure earlier than 8.00am or on a late arrival after 11.00pm, we may be able to offer early/late check-in/out depending on availability on the day, please ask.
Access to the house is not permitted to local people you might have met during your trip or in town. If you have foreign friends staying in town then they are allowed to access the house in the public ares only (not in the rooms).
After a few initial bumps, including most notably not getting the room we'd requested and paid for, we actually ended up really warming to our riad. Radouane was there only once, and we were left wanting when it came to advice, tips and info on where to go and what to see (which would have been great) but our actual room was cute and the riad itself quite lovely. The roof terraces were wonderful to spend time on and the riad was in a great location, although our Derb was one of the most "boisterous" to walk down every day. The staff too while often absent were pretty chill and friendly. There was a lovely Moroccan girl making out breakfast who couldn't speak a word of English! She was wonderful. For the price, we really didn't have much reason to grumble. I'd stay there again.
The start of the visit was the brilliant first experience of walking from the petit taxi across the square and into the Medina narrow walk ways. Behind the Riad's old door was the revelation of the traditional rooms and layout of this nice humble accommodation. Perfect location for ambling out into the surrounding streets and souks and for food on the square. Great having breakfast on the roof terraces and the fantastic apricot jam with local breads is just right.
Fine riad. Located at the end of an alley, it's still close to the main square. The room was quite small and noisy at night because of noise in the alley but that's totally out of the owner's control.
Nuit satisfaisante .
Riad "Eva" is a nice place. The Pictures really represent reality :) The Location is quite close to the place jemaa el fna.
Unfortunatelly, Radouane wasnt in the Riad when we arrived. So we didnt know what to do in the first moment. Could be organized a lill bit better :)
Breakfast is included with coffee, bread and Marmelade. They also clean the room every day.
I can recommend Riad Eva.
