Now under new management, Riad Eva offers a tranquil R&R retreat and is both couples and family friendly. The Riad is located in the highly sought-after Moulay Abdel Kader neighborhood off of Derb Debachi, which is only a 3 minute walk to Jemma El Fna Square in the Heart of the Old Medina. Although all the action of Marrakech is right outside your doorstep, you will feel completely a world-away from the hustle and bustle of the medina in this quiet, friendly and tranquil neighborhood. The rooms of the Riad are of the traditional inwards facing style, offering a surprising degree of privacy and seclusion from the outside world.
The Riad features 4 double on-suite bedrooms, 1 triple en-suite bedroom and 1 two-bedroom terrace suite. All of the rooms open onto a traditional Moroccan open-plan courtyard with a large two-tier rooftop sun terrace with multiple seating options. The Riad features a traditional, tasteful rustic Moroccan decor throughout.
This listing is for the 1st floor mezzanine level double twin room "Fes" (can be a triple on request).
Please contact us for availability for our other triple and double rooms, as we are currently in the process of listing similar style rooms on AirB&B that we have available.
Breakfast is not included in the price of the room, but can be ordered at an additional cost of €3/person. This includes your choice of tea, coffee or fresh squeezed orange juice and a Moroccan continental selection.
Refreshments and evening meals can be taken on the ground floor courtyard, or on the patio terrace and can be ordered from the staff. Evening meal requests must be ordered by midday. The top patio terrace features wrap-around views of Marrakesh and the Atlas mountains on clear days. Individual and couples hammams, massage and spa treatments, a variety of excursions, henna tattoos, and official souk guides can be arranged by the English speaking live-in staff on request.
Our business partner is a life-long resident of Marrakech and can accommodate any additional requests for help or information in French or Arabic if required. Our local connections make us ideally suited to help you make the most of your trip to Marrakech.
The Riad is a 30 minute transfer from Marrakech (RAK) airport and 10 minutes by taxi to the most popular attractions in Marrakech including Marjorelle Gardens and Jardin de l'Agdal.
The Downstairs open-air courtyard lounging area opens onto a communal salon with Satellite TV. WiFI access is available on the ground floor courtyard.
Petit Riad très bien tenu. Merci à Radouane pour pour son accueil et sa disponibilité. Et un grand merci à tous les marocains pour leur formidable hospitalité.
Overall a great experience! Close to the main plaza. The only "issue" was similar to what another person mentioned: the one Riad where I had booked was overbooked so the host walked me down to another of his riads. It was beautiful with great room and a great breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. No complaints at all! Definitely recommend
The worst kind of bait and switch!!! No single woman should stay here. When I made my reservation, it was with Cheryl and Kenny — an English-speaking couple — when I arrived, I was staying instead with a Moroccan man whose English was limited. When I asked about Cheryl and Kenny, I got a very vague response.
Not sure what others were talking about a great breakfast, during the three days I was there, there was no breakfast.
A pet cat was in residence. When I arrived, it had food, water and a clean catbox. Thereafter, the poor animal had neither food nor water and a filthy litter box.
Worse, Radouane seemed unable to keep his hands to himself. As a woman old enough to be his mother (if not his grandmother), I was absolutely appalled by his unwarranted behavior.
Lovely stay at Cheryl & Kenny's riad in Marrakech. Really helpful and prompt correspondence. Clear instructions on how to find the place, and Kenny came to meet me at the bus stop in town when I arrived. Very friendly, informal riad - simply and traditionally decorated. Convenient location - in the souk off the main square. Good breakfast served on the roof terrace. Would definitely recommend!
