About this listing
Mom and I are glad to accommodate, in our guest room, tourists and travelers who will be visiting for business, study or pleasure, the beautiful city of Pisa.
The apartment includes (together with the guest room where you'll be staying) the bedroom I share with my (email hidden)-in kitchen, a balcony and a bathroom with shower. Everything is within walking distance: 3-4 minutes to the stone walls surrounding the historical center and the Computer Science University (Marzotto), 15 mins walk to the Scuola Normale, and 20 mins to the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
The Bus n.2 will take you to and from the Railroad Station in about 5-10 mins; here is the transfer bus to the airport Galileo Galilei, which will be 5 extra minutes. If you don't want to fuss around with busses, or you are at the airport in the middle of the night with heavy luggage, the cab can take you here for 12 or 15 euros.
In case you'll be visiting Pisa for vacations, we will be glad to recommend interesting places to visit and unusual restaurants to go to; otherwise, if you'll be moving in the area and this will be your first pied-a-terre, we can get you acquainted with the city.
We'll provide clean towels and linens.
PLEASE NOTE: in the apartment lives a funny and talkative African Grey Parrot named Sinclair. Keep it in mind in case you are afraid of birds or you have an allergy!
We are flexible and tolerant in the house but we encourage our guests to observe these basic rules:
- don't walk in the apartment with street shoes
- kitchen tools ( pots, pans, dishes etc..) are available in case you want to cook as long as you wash them after using them, and you leave the kitchen the way you found it
- no food in the bedroom
- let us know at least 48 hours in advance when you arrive in Pisa and expect to check in.
- PLEASE RESPECT THE CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIME, otherwise we might not have enough time to tidy up the apartment and do loundry in between guests. CHECK IN TIME IS AFTER 3PM, AND CHECK OUT TIME IS BEFORE 11AM, but this is only indicative: due to our busy work schedule, this has to be confirmed depending on the day of the week.
...for the rest: MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME :-)
About the Host, Emiliano
I'm a professional jazz singer and work between Europe and USA. I consider myself very polite, personable and respectful and always willing to know people from allover the world. My job involves a good deal of travelling, which I love, but I also enjoy sitting on my balcony and take care of my plants basking in the sun. Animals and nature are one of my deepest passions, besides music of course, therefore I'm always up for a good bike ride on the outskirts or some hiking. I also have an african grey parrot named Sinclare whom I rescued from a bird shelter in the US where I volunteered for a few years.
I like to stay in shape and I do a little bit of running, swimming and some home workout; I do not smoke.
So this is me, in a nutshell.....if you're curious about my music and travelling take a look at my website (website hidden)
