The Space

Mom and I are glad to accommodate, in our guest room, tourists and travelers who will be visiting for business, study or pleasure, the beautiful city of Pisa.
The apartment includes (together with the guest room where you'll be staying) the bedroom I share with my (email hidden)-in kitchen, a balcony and a bathroom with shower. Everything is within walking distance: 3-4 minutes to the stone walls surrounding the historical center and the Computer Science University (Marzotto), 15 mins walk to the Scuola Normale, and 20 mins to the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
The Bus n.2 will take you to and from the Railroad Station in about 5-10 mins; here is the transfer bus to the airport Galileo Galilei, which will be 5 extra minutes. If you don't want to fuss around with busses, or you are at the airport in the middle of the night with heavy luggage, the cab can take you here for 12 or 15 euros.

In case you'll be visiting Pisa for vacations, we will be glad to recommend interesting places to visit and unusual restaurants to go to; otherwise, if you'll be moving in the area and this will be your first pied-a-terre, we can get you acquainted with the city.

We'll provide clean towels and linens along with a basic breakfast, which includes milk, coffee, tea, cookies and packed snacks and croissants.

PLEASE NOTE: in the apartment lives a funny and talkative African Grey Parrot named Sinclair. Keep it in mind in case you are afraid of birds or you have an allergy!

Other Things to Note

The city administration of Pisa is starting to enforce the tourist tax (mandatory for all visitors and hosts) which is 1.5 euros per person for every night (to a max of 5 nights) that we need to collect in cash, along with a copy of your ID, on behalf of the local SEPI office prior to your check-in.

Totalmente recomendable.

Everything was great! Emiliano wasn't in Pisa, but his mom was in charge and she was very nice. She tried to make me feel at home and she even came to pick me up from the airport at a very late hour after my plane was delayed! The house was very clean and the room was very comfortable. To sum up: a highly recomendable place to stay.

  • Absolutely lovely place to stay! My boyfriend and I decided to spend 3 nights, 4 days in Pisa while looking around the city and nearby places. Rosie was incredibly welcoming, generous and extremely helpful with everything. The breakfast in the morning was great, Sinclair the parrot was amusing and overall the stay was absolutely fantastic! Wonderful cozy little apartment with a lovely room, extremely comfortable bed and a great location.

It was just about a 15 - 20 min walk to the central station and it was nicely located in Pisa where it was near to everything such as bars, restaurants, the city centre, etc. Definitely will be back if we're back in Pisa!

  • Me and my friend had great experience staying at Emiliano's place! The house is located in a great area, 10 min walking from the old part of the city (shops and restaurants) and also 10 min from the Tower area. There is also a big supermarket and some small ones nearby. The area is also very quiet, so you can (email hidden)e house is very clean and cosy, our room was big and comfortable.
The hosts are super friendly, we received a very friendly welcome and also a nice breakfast in the morning. Emiliano's mum gave us a ride to the train station twice, which was super nice of her. And of course there is a cute parrot which says "goodmorning" and "bye bye". I highly recommend this place to everyone!

  • My stay in the apartment was fantastic. Not only was the welcome I received very warm and friendly, also the apartment was clean and in easy walking distance to all the attractions of Pisa. Emiliano's mother is a gem of a woman who made me feel at home and did everything possible to help me with my business in Pisa. I can highly recommend this to you.

  • I really enjoyed my staying at Emiliano's apartment, it was very comfortable and clean. Emiliano's mother welcome me and she was so nice and gentle, we chatted a lot and she gave me lot of tips to enjoy Pisa.

  • Emiliano and his mother were fantastic! I felt right at home. They provided maps and perfect directions. I accompanied them for dinner with their friends. Trying new foods and history of Pisa. Mind you I was only there for one day. I wish I would have scheduled more days to stay in Pisa with Emiliano and his mother. The city is amazing, the food incredible, and my host were more than welcoming.

    Response from Emiliano:

Tif, thank you so much for granting us with your company, smiles and beautiful soul you have. I wish I wasn't so busy with rehearsals, and you could have stayed a bit longer, but hey....this is life.
I wish you all the best, and I do hope our path will cross again!!

PS: how's the trip going? Florence? was the host ok? Let me know if you need any help..

  • My husband and I spent 2 nightd with Emiliano & his mother. They were both wonderful hosts. The room was clean and easy to access on the bus line. They provided maps, books, tips & restaurant suggestions to make our stay in Pisa easy and comfortable. Sinclair (the parrot) was fun, but if you are not in to pets, this might not be the best option. We really appreciated the help we got in planning our time.

  • Emilio, his mother and even the parrot are very nice and the stay in the flat was absolutely troublefree. The location of the flat is also quite good - not directly in the city centre but also not far - just few minutes by walk. Thank you both!

  • I spent two nights in late April and was hosted by Emiliano's mother Rosi, a loving and genuinely nice woman. She was a pleasure to meet and I cannot say enough positive things about her courteous demanor. The apartment is tiny, but the bedroom is well spaced and the entire place is super clean. The beds had fresh linen and the room had enough lighting, which made it very comfortable to hang in there after touring the city. Rosi owns a cute parrot who wishes you a "good morning" each day in English.

About
I'm a professional jazz singer and work between Europe and USA. I consider myself very polite, personable and respectful and always willing to know people from allover the world. My job involves a good deal of travelling, which I love, but I also enjoy sitting on my balcony and take care of my plants basking in the sun. Animals and nature are one of my deepest passions, besides music of course, therefore I'm always up for a good bike ride on the outskirts or some hiking. I also have an african grey parrot named Sinclare whom I rescued from a bird shelter in the US where I volunteered for a few years. I like to stay in shape and I do a little bit of running, swimming and some home workout; I do not smoke. So this is me, in a nutshell.....if you're curious about my music and travelling take a (email hidden) (website hidden) Cheers Emiliano
