The space
Located inside Hacienda Iguana, our charming townhouse offers a unique blend of comfort, luxury, and natural beauty, providing the perfect escape for up to four guests. This is more than just a place to stay; it's your home away from home for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
Our townhouse is a testament to our love for beauty and tranquility. From the inviting open-plan dining and living area to the serene outdoor spaces, the apartment exudes a sense of calm and sophistication. The backyard porch offers comfortable seating with stunning views of the manicured gardens and the adjoining golf course. For those seeking privacy, the master bedroom's outdoor space provides a serene retreat.
The air-conditioned open-plan living area features a 70" smart TV, a large dining table, and a cozy lounge area with ambient lighting. The well-stocked kitchen ensures all your culinary needs are met. A half bath and washer/dryer are conveniently located downstairs. Upstairs, you'll find two air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. The master bedroom includes a 44" smart TV, ceiling fans, and screened glass doors for added comfort.
A 20-meter walk from the townhouse, is a gorgeous shared swimming pool with an outdoor shower and seating. Stay connected with our 30mbps WiFi fiber optics connection throughout the property. Our townhouse is one of ten in a secure complex with dedicated parking spaces directly in front of the entrance.
A 10-minute walk or 2-minute drive takes you to Iguana's beach club overlooking Colorado, a world-class surfing wave. At the beach club you will find hammocks, swimming pool, restaurant, bar and, when the swell is on - awesome surf!
A vehicle is recommended but not essential as guests can easily rent golf carts, scooters or bicycles inside Hacienda Iguana.
Hacienda Iguana is safe and well-managed, with security at all entrances and exits. Iguana Resort is a vibrant community of friendly local Nicaraguans and expat foreigners. It's a playground for the eternal child with so many amazing things to do and see!

Welcome to Hacienda Iguana - Beach & Surf Community renowned for its world-class surf breaks, amazing restaurants and pristine 3km long white sand beach.
The Golf Townhouse complex comprises only 10 townhouses who share the pool, gardens and carpark. The complex provides 24hour security.
Guests receive exclusive access to the townhouse plus two non-assigned car parks as well as access to the gorgeous communal pool.
Guests can also enjoy access to the Iguana Beach Club overlooking the acclaimed Playa Colorado surf break. Here you will find a community swimming pool, showers & toilets, beach volleyball court, hammocks & beach loungers and a beach-front bar & restaurant. When the surf is on you can watch some incredible rides by highly experienced surfers. (The beach club is a 10-minute walk, 4-minute bike ride, or 1-minute drive from the townhouse.)
Surfers can enjoy 3 enticing breaks all located within the grounds of Iguana - Playa Colorado (South-end of the Beach), Panga Drops, and Los Perros (North end of the Beach). Furthermore gorgeous Playa Amarillo can be accessed at low tide and is just south of Playa Colorado.
Golf lovers will enjoy the superb 9-hole golf course, carefully designed and meticulously maintained for your enjoyment. As a guest, you'll appreciate the affordable green fees, making it an ideal complement to your beach side retreat. For those wanting to hone their golf skills there is both a small golf-range and a golf simulator located within Iguana! Lessons with a pro can also be arranged with sufficient notice.
Throughout the world the game of Pickleball is taking off. Iguana now has two high-end pickleball courts and a vibrant and growing Pickleball community! Pickleball is a game for everyone! It's super easy to learn but a warning - it is highly addictive!!
The entire Hacienda Iguana resort is highly secure and pedestrian-friendly, making it easy to explore the surrounding neighborhood and amenities on foot. Bikes, golf carts and scooters can be rented within the community.

There are over 10 places to eat and drink within the community including mid and high-end restaurants, cafes and bars. There are also two grocery stores and the local fresh-produce truck visits Iguana 3 times a week so you can get everything you need!
To ensure your safety and enjoyment, please note that all guests must provide a copy of their identification to the security team for access clearance. This measure is in place to protect the community's residents and visitors, while allowing you to indulge in the serene and idyllic surroundings of this paradise.
The beaches within Hacienda Iguana can receive big swell and are proned to rips and currents. Parents are highly encouraged to only allow children to swim when overseen by an adult. Hacienda Iguana does have its own surf life saving program which is certified by ISLA but certified life guards are on only duty weekends and public vacations.

The closest city to Iguana is Rivas which is a 40minute drive. It takes 2 hours to drive from the Managua International airport to Iguana. If coming from Costa Rica, Iguana is a little over a 1 hour drive from the Costa Rican border.
