Minutes from downtown Denver and the Denver Convention Ctr, this roomy and comfortable home is perfect for business & holiday travelers, or new residents searching for permanent housing. Room has a cozy queen bed with full bathroom just for your use.
My house is located in the up and coming RiNO art district, minutes from bars, restaurants, art galleries, downtown Denver with its theatres and the Denver Convention Center.
This cozy room is equipped with a queen bed and comfortable bedding, along with fresh towels. There is also an open concept kitchen / living room / dining room on the first floor, along with a full bathroom, which you may share with another Airbnb guest staying in the adjacent spare room. Newly Installed Central Air-Conditioning will provide with a comfortable experience during the hot summer months.
It is a mere 8 minute drive from the Colorado Convention Center, and if you're renting a car, there is plenty of street parking available in the front of the home.
I have an affection for art and music, which is expressed throughout the house that's full of natural light. It's a perfect alternative to hotels for those coming in for business, pleasure, to stay while house hunting or during short term work projects.
There is WiFi throughout the home, which is also equipped with the latest security technology (will provide a home manual, which shows you how to use the alarm system and will include your own security access code).
I also have a dog Sam, a small Westie mix, so if you are allergic to animals then this would probably not work for you.
One pet is allowed with no additional security deposit, but as expected, any damage caused by your pet will be deducted from the original security deposit.
There is the main living room on the first floor, which will allow you to relax at the end of the day in your own space, while I use the basement lounge area where my master bedroom and bathroom is located.
The fourth bedroom is set up as an office from which I work, but you can have access to the printer if needed for small print jobs.
Interaction with Guests
I will be in the home during your stay, either working from my home office, out at meetings or working from a co-working space. I am always available by text in the event you need to reach me when I'm not at home.
The Cole / RiNO neighborhood is continually evolving, with new restaurants, co-working spaces, breweries and art galleries popping up all the time. But it still remains a quiet neighborhood, with the City Park nearby to have a picnic or go for a run, along with drop-in yoga studios. The locals are very friendly and in a good mood, because Denver is offers a great quality of life.
There is a bus that takes you to downtown Denver that stops at the end of the street. There is plenty of street parking if you rent a car, with the highways to take you from the airport, up to Boulder and the mountains, just 10 minutes away. B-cycle bike sharing hub is also a 10 minute walk away, as is restaurants and bars.
Other Things to Note
There is a washer and dryer to do your laundry, with detergent provided. There is also a hair dryer in the bathroom and an iron and ironing board provided.
You have use of the kitchen, but will expect all guests to clean up after themselves, including the bathroom. Guests may be allowed over, but need to be arranged beforehand. There is no smoking in the house, but there is a back patio with patio furniture, with a place to discard your butts. Overall, it is asked that you treat my home as you would your own.
So this was a pretty great place, the room is cozy and it's just a over all good place for the money, if your stopping into town and need a place to stay I would def recommend it, she does have a little dog that can be a little aggressive, I mean I was hardly there so maybe she just needs to get to know you and she's just protecting her house. Kim was great and very accommodating all in all it was a good experience.

I run a culture website Kaffeine Buzz, which is fueled by a deep love for music, film and art, and am a photographer, capturing life as it flashes before my eyes. I love the adventure in learning how small the world really is and experiencing the joy of how we're all connected in some way.
