  • We had a GREAT experience with Giovanni! The place was great, easy to find and in a great location. Giovanni provided us with great instructions as to how to get around town as well as a wonderful list of restaurants to try. Very helpful and accommodating as well. Would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again if we return. Thanks again for everything!

  • Giovanni is an AMAZING host. He was very detailed in giving directions and responded to my queries very promptly. When I arrived at the apartment, he warmly greeted me with a big smile and lovely Italian hospitality, not forgetting that he speaks really good English.

As I only had a day to spare in Rome, Giovanni was quick in getting me settled in before he spent some time going through the map of the city and all the places I should visit in the next 20 hours. Thanks to his insight, I managed to do all I wanted to do in the city and so much more.

On the overall, great stay (email hidden) and would definitely look into another stay should I swingby for a hopefully longer trip to Rome.

  • My cousin Marilyn and I had a lovely visit at Giovanni and Michelle's home. Giovanni was very helpful in helping us plan our trip and Michelle was delightful greeting us everyday with delicious pastries and cappuccino. The apartment was very well situated and easy to travel to and from.
Giovanni is very proud of the elevator and encourages everyone to use it whenever possible! Thank you for a wonderful stay Giovanni and Michelle, one or both of us will be back! All the best from Canada! Marilyn and Helen.

  • There is probably no better hosts than Giovanni and his wife. They do ANYTHING to help you with whatever challenge you might be having. My daughter and I got separated at the Metro, and Giovanni dropped what he was doing to help me, which involved a trip to the police station. :(. All worked out well, but I was so impressed with his goodness.

As soon as you arrive, Giovanni does everything to make you feel comfortable, telling you places to see, typical and cheap restaurants. His advises has been good suggestions and haven't been disappointed at all! The flat is very welcoming and clean, made of three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an equiped kitchen. Nice breakfasts are ready while you wake up. The place is well situated and easy to access by tram; moreover, 5 or 6 bus lines can take you to each corner of the antic city. To let you know, The Colisseum is 15 minutes walking. Well, don't hesitate!

  • Our stay at Giovannis was amazing!
The room was so nice and clean (be sure to ask for the one with the balcony so you can have breakfast there)!
Giovanni was very helpful with directions and tips (best ice cream in Rome is at Giolittis) and the apartment is a perfect starting-point to explore Rome.

The only downside was that other guests were taking showers from 23:00 until almost 02:00 am non-stop! But That's not Giovannis fault.

  • Giovanni & Michella are very good Hosts.. The location is about 500 meters from Metro Station... Both Giovanni & Michella helped in our bookings and provided all the tourist details of Rome ..The apartment is very basic .. Hosts provided good mattresses and clean bed sheets & towels... One Bathroom with our apartment was very cramped... The temperature control in the shower did not work at all.. Very uncomfortable.. Giovanni allowed us to use other bathroom but with other guests staying it was not so comfortable...

  • Giovanni (email hidden). My girlfriend and me were staying 4 nights with Giovanni and his lovely wife and we really enjoyed our stay. It was our first experience with airbnb and Giovanni made it to a very good one.
The room is directly located at San Giovanni in Laterano and near to the Coloseum (10 min. walk). From Giovanni's flat you can easily visit Rome by feet but the location is also very good connected to the local traffic, e.g. Metro, Bus and Tram.
The whole flat was very clean. Our room was also very clean and spacious. Every morning we got a tasty breakfast with coffee, juice and pastries, which was really awesome.
When we arrived, Giovanni provided us with a map of Rome and explained us which sights we have to visit and how to get there. During our whole stay Giovanni was available every morning for a short nice chat which created a really familiar atmosphere. Furthermore, he provided us with great advice as regards restaurants to have tasty Italian food. Especially the pasta at La Botticella in Trastevere was the best pasta we ever had.
If we come back to Rome we would definitively stay with Giovanni again. We can definitively recommend Giovanni to all airbnb-fellows who are looking for an accommodation in Rome.
