  • My stay at Natalie and Adam's was exactly what I was looking for. The space was clean, the bed was super comfortable, the garden and house inviting and lovely. My hosts were busy with their own lives and we hardly saw each other yet they graciously opened their home to me giving me free reign to come and go as I pleased. The Mississippi neighborhood is charming and vibrant with all sorts of shops, restaurants and coffee places for an early morning riser such as myself. Thank you Natalie and Adam for sharing your lovely home.

  • Andy and I had an awesome time staying at Natalie and Adam's place. Very convenient location—literally just a couple blocks from Mississippi St. where you can find a ton of restaurants, bars, and shops. Natalie and Adam were super friendly too...they were available to chat when we wanted to but otherwise stayed out of our way and left us to our comfy room (the bed was so comfy, we didn't wake up once during the night). Would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks Natalie and Adam!

  • Natalie and Adam were on point with everything - very responsive, flexible, and all was well ready when I arrived. They strike a perfect balance between responsible and laid back. I got the chance to speak with them both in the mornings and evenings, when the two weren't busy at work. Great people!

The space itself is completely spic-n-span and adorable - with great closet and drawer space in the room. Mississippi is a great neighborhood with a main thoroughfare of food spots, coffee shops and quiet, green, side streets. The noise from I-5 was not bothersome at all! Still a peaceful place.

  • Natalie and Adam have a beautiful space that is so cozy and inviting. Although I did not meet Adam I am sure if he's anything like Natalie, he's a wonderful person. Natalie made me feel at home and like a friend. It was a relief since this was my first soiree into Portland as a new transplant and it gave me such peace of mind to feel like I was at a friends house. I highly recommend staying at Natalie and Adam's space. It's literally two blocks away from all of the happening bustle of Mississippi Ave.

  • I had a great stay at your place. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable and the house had a great eclectic feel. I had the opportunity to meet Natalie and she couldn't be nicer. I hope to stay at their place again in the future and would highly recommend it if you're in the Portland area!

  • My friend and I had a wonderful time staying with Adam and Natalie in Portland. Their home is really lovely, clean, and cozy, and they were both great about making the stay totally smooth and easy. Spent most of the time out exploring (which was quite easy to do from their place), but felt very much at home regardless. Would highly recommend staying with them!

  • Natalie and Adam are fabulous hosts, outstanding. Their house is close to public transport, in a great part of town, and the room is so warm and cozy, their house is gorgeous. The best nook to come home to when traveling. Thank you both so much for providing such a comforting, inspiring, welcoming place to stay :)

Natalie - At-risk youth mentor: Adam - Artist, Deschutes Brewery
Adam and Natalie met in college about ten years ago and have remained close ever since! Taurus's Unite! Hey there! I'm Adam. I'm 32, gay, an artist and avid soccer player. I've lived in Portland on and off for six years now and love this city more every day. With a background in the creative non-profit world, I've left the desk job to focus on printmaking and my budding art career ((email hidden)). I work at the amazing Deschutes Brewery about three days a week, love to canoe, hike, cook, drink wine/cider, have fires and travel. I was a foreign exchange student in Spain, have lived in Alaska and Hawaii, and have frequently traveled to Mexico, Central America and Cuba. Hey! I'm Natalie. I'm 30 and a Portland native. I feel lucky to have grown up in such a beautiful area however I love to travel and try to go on adventures whenever I can. I am interested in design, cooking, studio time, hiking, and time with people who inspire me! I work at a non-profit mentoring program for at-risk youth. We both love meeting new people and can give lots of pointers about discovering the unique spirit of Portland. That said, we're definitely busy people, and will work best with Airbnb'ers who have a sense of independence and a willingness to stay flexible!
