The Space

Visit us and get the real feel for Berlin! The studio lays in the heart of Kreuzberg - the district that never sleeps. You will live inbetween the famous Oranienstraße and Warschauer Straße and will get an impression of the original Berlin. The neighbourhood offers you a huge variety of bars, restaurants, clubs and supermarkets. And as it is typical for Berlin: there is something for every taste! Görlitzer Park, which is a parc famous for its mulicultural atmosphere, is only two minutes away and gives you the opportunity to relax or to have a barbecue. Next trainstation (line 1) is reachable within five minutes by feet. It gives you a very good transportation in every important area from Berlin. The historical center is reachable in 10 minutes or the Hauptbahnhof in 15 Minutes. If you would like to explore Berlin by bike you can rent them for a very fair price from us.
The studio is located in a very calm and pretty courtyard. Its high ceilings (3,20 m), big rooms and original wooden floors spreads out a classical charme of a berlin style apartment.
All furniture is brand new, the wooden floor has been renewed and the quality of bed and matress is very high.
The apartment offers you a kingsize bed and a big pull out couch with enough space for two people. A large flatscreen TV and a DVD player is available for your extra entertainment.
The kitchen is open and integrated in the studio. It is equipped with everything you need. Kitchen and studio are separated by a bar with seating for four people.
The bathroom is next to the entry. It is completely modernized and has a bassin, a toilet and a bathtub. Fresh towels and bedding are always included in our price! Internet access is available and for free!
If you have any questions I would love to answer them!

  • This flat is great and amazing if you want to visit Berlin. It's very well located, near two subway stations that gives you access to the whole city, a big park, a grocery. The pictures are very a good idea of what it looks like. Well equipped, there's everything you need. We were three and we had enough room for everyone, using the sofa-bed. It was also really easy to pick-up the keys and Ben accomodated an early check-in for our luggage. will definitely rent this appartment if I go back to Berlin.

  • Very nice and cosy apartment for 4 people.
The location is good, as it is close to public transport, supermarkets, bars, reuaturants and cafes.
The apartment was clean but a tiny bit cold. I guess i would be quite cold to stay here in the colder months of the year.
We used the pick up service that Ben reccomented, which was perfect for our needs.
All in all a very good experience!

  • Ben's flat was just as expected, very comfy and clean. The kitchen has everything you need. The location is perfect if you want to feel the real krezberg's breeze, very close to the the bar area. We highly recommend the shuttle service if you arrived at the airport, Tanja was very kind and helpfull, she helped us infact coming in the flat.

  • Hi all,

Ben is apparently renting several studios so this is a review for the (2)STUDIO IN KREUZBERG! We haven't had the opportunity to meet him. Absolutely fine for us as I already knew Berlin.

    Overall experience: rather satisfied

    PRO:
    - Set in prime location
    - Clean space: clean bed sheet, towel, comfortable bed
    - Clear communication with Ben

    CON
    - Lighting in the studio is very dark: not much natural light from sun even during the day (and we were there end of April and not in the middle of the winter when days are shorter). Studio definitely not as bright as you can see on the pictures, a bit misleading in my opinion.
    - There is a stereo but with no Ipod connection.
    - The building and the hallway are not soundproof.
    - A good advice when someone is taking a shower: don't use neither hot nor cold water in the kitchen at the same time.
    - Door lock: I'm maybe just stupid but I found a bit tricky to open the door. But once you get it it's fine. So just don't panic :)

  • We had a great time at Ben's apartment. We paid for a friend of Ben's to pick us up and she was very nice and check in went smoothly. The apartment is lovely and cosy and didn't feel cramped with 3 people. It is in an excellent spot in Kreuzberg and near some lovely cafes and bars. We were really happy with the apartment and the location. The bathroom is nice and the shower is a good pressure. It's nice having a bench that everyone can sit around for breakfast. Ben was very generous with letting us check out late. I would highly recommend staying here, and would happily stay there again myself. Very cool area.

  • Bens flat was ideal for 3 persons. Clean and cosy. Very central and in a authentic neighbourhood. Only thing was the wifi which was kind of unstable, but that was a small problem. After all, vacations aren't meant to be spend on the internet :)

  • The flat was a great base for our 5-day stay in Berlin. We loved the road the apartment is on and went to a few of the restaurants which were great, but the kitchen was also fully equipped for when we decided to cook there.
I would recommend taking ear plugs as, like in most apartment blocks, the noise carries around the courtyard...

  • Berlin est une très belle ville et notre voyage de 4 jours s'est très bien passé !
L'appartement est très bien situé à proximité des transports, des quartiers animé et d'un beau parc.

  • Ben gave clear instructions as to how to find the apartment and key no problems there whatsoever. The neighbourhood had lots of interesting bars and great priced restaurants really close to the River Spree which is great to have a few beers by in the sunshine!

The apartment was clean and tidy - a little cold in the evenings. The only thing that would have been great would have been some instructions about how to use the cooker, heating and maybe some recommendations on good bars and things to see in the area. The fridge did not work for the entirety of our stay but this is beyond Ben's control as things like this happen and I have been assured that he will contact me regarding this.

Wifi signal wasn't very good which was a little annoying as we were relying on our iPad to look up where places were and most of the time couldn't connect to it

All in (email hidden) for a short city break, very secure, comfy and felt like home!
