Our riad, restored traditional home, peacefully situated in a very welcoming neighborhood in the ancient medina (city centre of Marrakech).
After a long 25 years of working in the heady/fast city of London (with its cosmopolitan culture and a lots of worldwide travelling in between), Abdessadek and Belinda realized there was a need for travelers /holiday makers to enjoy an authentic holiday and recharge in this magnificent old Riad (Home) in the walled city centre of Marrakech and taste an authentic experience of Morocco.
The riad restored traditional home, peacefully situated in a very welcoming neighborhood in the ancient medina (centre of Marrakech). The famous Jemaa el fna 'Big squat and koutoubia mosque' are just 200 metres down the road from location.

A wonderful and relaxing place to stay. This is a Riad with spirit and character - from the delicious and hearty breakfast every morning to an afternoon mint tea in the tranquil courtyard to the uniquely decorated rooms.
Easy walking distance to many of the Medina highlights and the host, Abi, will gladly give you suggestions and tips, he was indispensable throughout our stay. We spent many a hour chatting over tea and coffee in the beautiful courtyard.
A few suggestions - do bring your own shampoo/conditioner, include time in your stay for down time at the Riad, bring slippers in the cooler months (they really made our downtime feel like home), go to a hammam, and do the airport transfer instead of trying to get your own taxi.
If we ever go back to Marrakach, we would stay here again.

Just feels like home at Abdessadek's place. Really welcoming and sharing man, Abdessadek took of his time to take us to very typical places in Marrakech and gave us many advices about the city.
The riad is wonderfully decorated, very close to Jemaa El-Fna place and is the peacefull place you need to rest a little after a walk into the ferment of the heart of Marrakech.
Thanks again, see you soon
Dear Nathan, It was a pleasure to have Nathan staying with us. Nathan's English and my french just start to get better by the time he had to leave. After all,Nathan was calm, clean, very respectful and I just hope that he did enjoyed his stay here too. I will definitely recommend him to any future hosts. Kind regards, Abi
Hard to summarize the wonderful riad and its host. Abi and I chatted long hours, he showed me his spots in Marrakech (of particular interest, the rug auction, where his friend answered questions and patiently displayed some beautiful carpets), and the riad itself was designed with thought to both aesthetics and comfort. With a supportive staff that made great breakfasts, a few days here was an ideal wind-down from intense traveling around Morocco. The blue room faces a fairly noisy street but I was too tired to mind! If you need a relaxing spot run by a good soul (with excellent English) I can't recommend the Blue Berber highly enough.
Firstly, I would like to say it was a pleasure to have you, and take this opportunity to thank you on behalf of riad Blue Berber and its team. For booking your stay, confessing that riad Blue Berber designed with thought and has everything, esthetics, comfort, and supporting staff that goes with it. Ha,h
Secondly, now I hoard your rationale, and experience you had in the blue room. I agree, in blue room there are two windows facing the street. But, the windows do have shutter do. The street is a habitant area, pedestrians whom live in neighborhood, and it’s not motorway, high street or anything like that at all.
Thirdly, and like this one. Because the fairy noise that you have mentioned earlier, it’s only the children from neighborhood having fun, and visitors usually like that, because it makes them feel they’re in morocco, engaged with the locals, safe atmosphere, and unlike staying in some big tourist resort out of nowhere, and have to be in by certain time. To be frank, and as a member of staff said, you had a cold from your trip to Sahara, you where coughing quite constantly at night, and just that sometime can be disturbing to others too.
Finely and this is just for mentioning ‘good soul’ on your feedback. What do you really mean by saying that? Because you did say that the staff at riad blue Berber was supportive. But, when you asked or had your laundry done for you by a member of staff, you didn’t pay her for the work she did for you.
