Interaction with Guests
I will be very pleased to greet you and give you many advice about things to do and to see in Bordeaux and also many tips about where to eat and drink.
Welcome in the "Quartier Saint Pierre" located between the Cathedral, the River, Quartier Saint Paul and the Grand Theatre. In my opinion, it's one of the best place to chill out in Bordeaux.
You are in the middle of the lovely historical city-center (rated UNESCO World Heritage).
Lot of students and young couples live there. The whole area is pedestrianized and full of charming squares and mazy narrow pretty streets - all very lively and full of little boutiques, bars, terraces and restaurants. The quartier Saint Pierre is basically the perfect area to wander, socialize and enjoy an espresso or a glass of wine on sunny terraces.
- Carrefour City (5 min by foot) closes at 22H.
Rue des Argentiers on the corner of Place du Palais.
- Monoprix (5 min by foot). Rue des Trois Conils - Centre Commercial St Christoly
- Marché U (3 min by foot). Corner rue Ravez/Cours Alsace Lorraine
BAKERIES - BREAKFAST:
- La Fabrique (2 min by foot) Amazing bread.
Rue du Pas St Georges (from the square: go on the right)
- Chez Karl (4 min by foot) Place du Parlement. Lovely place for a breakfast or a lunch.
L'Utopia (1 min by foot). The most charming and pretty cinema I've seen. It used to be an old church.
All the films are played in original version. A must-do!
How to come to my flat?
FROM THE SATION:
- take the TRAM C (towards les Aubiers/City center) and get off at Place de La Bourse (the journey takes 10 minutes). Then, there is a 6 minutes walk to get to the flat (via rue du Pas Saint Georges and turn right at Place Camille Jullian and you end up directly Rue Saint Siméon).
FROM THE AIRPORT:
- take the bus LIANES 1 and get off at the last stop "Les Quinconces" (the journey takes 45 minutes - 1,50€). Then there is a 10 minutes walk to reach the flat (take rue Sainte Catherine until Place Saint Projet and then turn left at Rue de la Merci and you end up directly Rue Saint Siméon - which is the same street).
IF YOU HAVE A CAR:
Just opposite the doorstep there is an access to the PARKING Camille Jullian (24 € for 24 hours of parking - all the parkings in Bdx charge the same).

n Bordeaux, we have experienced fantastic four days.
Rarely we were in such a beautiful well-kept apartment in the old city of Bordeaux. Xavier maintains the apartment to the last detail. He was not live on site but everything well organized. We had the flight in the evening and he was spontaneously ready, we were able to leave the apartment later. As a Swiss we love the cleanliness. The apartment was excellent. The beds really comfortable, soft but not too soft. The windows are 3 meters high and give a sense of size. The apartment is quite enough for a couple or with a child. We fell in love with the house but also in Bordeaux. Very good is also the bike rental. For 1.5 euros per day you can rent a bike. About the App velo bordeaux bordeaux or vcub or velos you immediately see where stationed velos and where it velo-parking are free. Is beneficial event. if you take a bike lock with, then you do not have an extra always find a parking spot. But a super deal in town. Of course, there's fantastic flea markets and extremely good small restaurants. Of course you drink because only Bordeaux wines. We have never ordered a bottle but always ordered different wines by the glass. So you could eat and taste. And like we can also tell us where the wine is accurate.
For a city trip but the apartment is of great importance. It needs an anchor, where you can relax comfortably. The apartment Xavier has the guarantee. It was our first trip Städt we organized only via apps paid, and informed. easyjet-airbnb-about-velo-bordeaux-tripadvisor.
we come again.

Xavier is a great host! Really helpful, quick communication and lots of great recommendations.
And I loved the beautiful apartment, very comfortable and in a perfect location for exploring the city.
Thank you Xavier, I look forward to visiting again.
Our visit in your lovely Bordeaux apartment was divine! It's perfectly located in town and has all the amenities of a fine hotel. The bed was delightful with freshly pressed sheets. We took advantage of many of your helpful suggestions you made available and appreciated your thoughtfulness. Our only regret is that we didn't stay long enough! We highly recommend your flat and hope to have the opportunity to stay there again.

I am Xavier, 33, from Bordeaux. I currently live between London and Bordeaux. I love laughing, traveling, walking, cycling, architecture, geography, arts, music, food, wine, and many others… and of course meeting people from all around the world.
I also love singing and playing guitar for my surrounding and writing songs (when I am inspired..).
I want to share with everyone everything I know/love about Bordeaux and its region. It's part of my passions. That is why I really want to set up my own company as a bespoke tour guide. It would be fun !
I look forward to meeting you and greeting you in my beautiful flat.
I also would be pleased to have a little aperitif and a chat if you want. Just ask.
