About This Listing
NOTE: I will be out of the country from May 29 - June 16 with little internet access. Please give me at least 12 hours to respond inquiries for after June 16! I have three lovely rooms available for short term stays in a lovely Mid-Century neighborhood; we are right at the Perimeter I285/ I85 on the north side of Atlanta. It is very quiet and comfortable. I offer self-serve breakfast and a home cooked dinner. You will have a private room with a shared shower/bath. I do have three cats who are very sweet. This is a great option for someone staying in Atlanta for a short time or just moving here and needing a place to stay while looking for long term accommodation. Please look at my other listing to rent the second or third room.
Kitchen is available for breakfast cooking only.
WI-FI included; laundry service once a week; housecleaning every 2 weeks.
There is a MARTA bus stop about 1/2 mile away; MARTA train is 3 miles.
I expect quiet time from midnight at the latest until 8 am. If you are not coming home for dinner you must let me know by 6 pm that evening. No overnight guests. Please help keep the house clean and bug-free by not keeping food in your room.
I had an amazing stay with Katherine at her beautiful home in Atlanta. I arrived to a home cooked dinner and immediately felt at ease with her and her 2 kitties. The house was in an amazing and peaceful neighborhood, and I would wake up to the sounds of nature outside my window every morning. Katherine went out of her way to make me feel at home and made sure I had everything I needed including adjusting her meals to fit my food allergy needs. My experience to Atlanta would have been lacking if not for my knowledgeable and kind host and her clean and quiet home. Katherine understands what Airbnb is all about. Accept no imitations!
Katherine is a super host and a great cook. Her home was conveniently located to my work and to metro Atlanta. I stayed in the downstairs bedroom and had the floor and bathroom mostly to myself which was nice although it is a common area. Would return next time in Atlanta and hoping she comes to our family's newly posted Air BnB in Amagansett that she helped me with. Thank you for the nice time.
Katherine made our stay extremely nice. This was my wife and I's first time using airbnb and it will not be our last everything was super clean. The beds were very comfortable and the dinner that she made us was exquisite. If you want a nice place to stay in Atlanta this would be the place!
Kathrine was AMAZING. She wasn't there to great us when we arrived but she had prepared a delicious meal. She helped set us up with her other guests because we were all attending the same music festival. Her home was beautiful, her cooking was incredible, and she was so sweet and helpful!
I fly to Atlanta randomly and only had the flight tickets booked. I needed a last minute place to stay at and I'm glad I chose to stay with Katherine. She was easy to communicate with and always responded right away. Her place is a drive from downtown but if you like the outdoors, her house is in a lovely location surrounded by tall pretty trees. The neighborhood was so lovely and you won't have any problem with parking at all! Her house is just as lovely as her company. I ended up staying at her place because I was so tired and the place was so comfortable. Katherine made me feel at home. She cooked dinner for me and made sure I can help myself with breakfast as she needed to work while I was still asleep. I highly recommend staying with Katherine when you're in Atlanta. Also she has two cats that were very well behaved if you like cats.
We had a wonderful stay at Katherine's house. She made us feel welcome and was very accomodating. I can echo all the great comments that have been left before. Hosts like Katherine make airBnB such a great succes!
Katherine has a beautiful house. I stayed there for two nights and she was very accommodating for my schedule and diet---with the free Breakfast and Dinner provided. An interesting person to talk to and I learned from her. The place is hard to get to without a car, but if you have a car (or rent one, as I did), I recommend staying.
