Enjoy a classic Tahoe A-frame in a great location in Tahoe city. Has two large decks, jacuzzi, horseshoes, and space for spreading out in the back yard. 5 min walk to the lake or trail heads, 5 min drive to Homewood or 20 min to Alpine Meadows/Palisades.

The space
Make this retreat your home away from home! This family residence in Lake Tahoe sleeps up to 8 and is close to the beach or a short drive from ski slopes. Enjoy the fresh air, the views of the trees, the large yard (with a tree fort), or relax on the deck in the spa. If you have to work, the wifi is fast and reliable.

The Tahoe City Rideout community center is right down the block, as are several trailheads into Ward Creek State Park. We're just up the road from the Sunnyside Resort—perfect for happy hour, Firesign Cafe, and the West Shore Market and Cafe. Or you can enjoy Tahoe City, a lakeside town with a charming downtown area good for strolling and window-shopping. In the summer, there is a well-maintained bike path running between the cabin and Tahoe City and beyond to Palisades, or you can head south to the beach at Hurricane Bay or beyond to Homewood, Tahoma and Sugar Pine State park. In the winter, enjoy world-famous Lake Tahoe slopes at Palisades, Alpine, and nearby Homewood; miles of groomed cross-country terrain; and sledding or ice skating.

In addition to the beds mentioned, there’s a Pack’n’Play.

The Rideout Community Center is down the street and offers an outdoor playground, athletic field & outdoor basketball courts. There are trailhead access points that lead to Ward Creek and beyond.

We have professional cleaners who are taking every reasonable precautionary measure (i.e. masks, gloves, emphasis on disinfecting, etc.).

Due to the area's high fire risk and North Lake Tahoe Fire restrictions, we do not have a barbecue available.

This is our family's beloved cabin, not an investment short term rental. It has been fully renovated as of November 2025.
